Looking on swingsense looks like putting sensor, 2 cameras, and second light would run close to $2500. I'll keep them on the wish list, but probably not in the cards for this year. I've been pleased with the protee so far, and its nice that it can be added on to easily.

Here is a pic. Finally up. What a pain!
A couple notes... I love the screen setup, kinda. I had a hard time finding what I wanted. I got a good deal on this package with this screen, but there is another similar one that looks to be built much better. Some things I don't like about this is there is no support on the horizontal bars and it scews the fabric a little as you can see at the bottom of the screen image (that is the screen and not the projection doing that). If anyone wants info on this stuff, I'm happy to help.
I also have it right up against the wall (minus the frame depth of about 1', so when a ball is hit in center, it can hit the wall. Since I have finished walls back there, I mounted a sheet polyethelyne foam. Works great. That is also what is laying on the floor (the black one) because I bought more than I need and as per Zmax recommendation having something black on the floor that is not too reflective (1 side isn't) makes a huge difference. The carpet Zmax found at HD may be better, and I'd have gone with that or something similar if I didn't already have this. May change at some point, but this works great for the Hcam.
My stance mat and hitting mat fit into a custom made setup that I saw someone else do something like (don't remember who), but it is fantastic and works great and is very light to move around. It is TWO 1/4" thick 5 x 5 sheets of plywood with hard insulation foam sandwiched in-between and glued with industrial spray that is somewhat safe on the foam. I then cut out a section from the top plywood and the foam (left the bottom ply intact and that left a space for my sensor pad. It's in there with strong velcro so I can pull it out if needed. You'd think it wouldn't be strong with 1/4" ply and foam, but it is. Going 6 months now and still looks new. I don't see any wear at all.
I finished the sides with Gorilla Black wide Tape that will stick to wood for a nice finished look. To move it around on the carpet easily, I prop it up on furniture sliders (and lean it against the wall for a nice finished movie night ready look.
FYI 5 x 4 plywood would've probably been easier to find and move around, but my mat is 5 x 5 and I didn't want to cut it. I may to that next time, but the 5' has to be depth (you facing the sensor pad).
Hope that helps someone!Last edited by Maverick; 09-18-2014, 10:10 PM.

I had issues with having two pics in there for some reason, so here is the second...
Also, forgot to mention after I did the plywood and taping, I then used carpet tape to mount the stance mat to the plywood. I cut grooves for the wires to go underneath the stance mat to the back and then taped them along the back edge to my computer, which is behind me. Works better for my room.Last edited by Maverick; 09-18-2014, 05:23 AM.

Got my setup from Chip at Spectrum Golf (http://shop.virtual-golf-simulator.com/main.sc). But next time, I'd try a similar screen from golfsimulatorguys.com, also on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/271008272801) as it has supports on the horizontal runs that mine does not.

Above I describe how I made the stance assembly, but the mat itself I also got with the screen from the same place. I'm happy with the mat. I hit off of the mat all the time when I'm doing drills or warming up and it shows no wear yet (and I've hit a lot off of it). Also, the mat was delivered with the right size cutout for the sensor pad.

Ever since I began to set up my garage simulator I struggled with working around my garage door opener. I offset my screen slightly from the center of the garage and shifted the opener drive unit to the right as far as possible. Even with this arrangement I still occasionally would clip the side of the Opener housing when I hit wedges. Well, the 15 year old Genie screw drive finally died and it was time to fix this nuisance for good. After some investigation I stumbled upon the Sommer direct drive Garage door opener. The beauty of this unit is the 24v motor runs along the rail to lift the door. Without the need for a drive unit the end of the rail the rail you can buy an adapter wire and place the head unit off to the side , out of the way of my wedges on the follow through. Works like a charm and this thing is almost silent. If anyone else out the with a garage set up has this issue I highly recommend this opener. It's a bit more expensive but worth it.
