  • Archery netting as impact screen

I've taken he plunge and bought 4m X 2.7m heavy duty archery grade netting to use as an impact screen, since the net holes are small (they have to stop an arrow). I have also thought I can also hang a white sheet behind it if the projected image bleed leads to shadowing. I plan to install in my garage at the door end as a curtain that retracts and goes along the wall, so on a right angled rail or wire. Has anyone had any experience of doing this?

SUPERKNIT BAFFLE SCREEN. Very tight and smaller holes than standard archery with a greater flat surface works well. It comes with blackout and gives a great image

Shop golf simulators for sale at InSwing Golf, including ProTee, SkyTrak, FlightScope and Garmin launch monitors, plus golf mats, nets and indoor training setups.

You may have already answered this, but what's the material or panel above the screen? It's nice and tidy-looking.

It is interlocking foam/rubber floor tiles. The kind of thing you find in kids play areas or the gargae maybe. I bought them years ago from a floor covering specialist in the UK. I then stuck them to some 4mm plywood that I had screwed to the ceiling using some industrial double sided tape, been no bother at all and certainly stopped me blasting holes in the plasterboard ceiling that I ws doing before.
    Working...
