The fabric was produced. Unfortunately during the finishing process

Sorry trigger happy on the last post.

During the finishing process the fabric was stretched. Most likely because it was a couple inches short of the 120 inches width spec and the finisher stretched it to make the width. Unfortunately in the process he stretched the fabric which not only reduced the fabric width by about a mm but also reduced the number of courses. (Google courses and wales to understand) It's easier to understand if you take your shirt and stretch it horizontally, the rows of stitches become more visible. End result is a fabric that's not as thick or as tightly knit as what we want. So, I did not accept the product and will get it produced again hopefully this time correctly. Obviously the bad news is further delay. Meanwhile I've asked what the discount would be if we took some of the off spec product that was already produced. If the discount is significant I will advise. Might be good for some of you as a temporary solution.

That's a shame - especially as I (and I assume many others) don't need the full 120 inch anyway - I could even get away with 100". Thanks for the update and I'm glad you didn't accept it.

Thanks again, Daniel. Inside I'm dying to get something set up in my sim room - I bought my Skytrak in June and have been hitting into a net while waiting for this screen to arrive. Hoping we get something figured out soon or else I'll plan on ordering a cheapo screen somewhere else and maybe keep it as a backup once this comes in.
