I am making my own putting green and have the mat and "grass" but need advice on what to use for the cups. I do not want to build a platform for the proper depth of a regulation cup. I have a 1" foam under and the carpet is extremely thin. I am thinking about just purchasing the birdie ball cups to use but was looking to see if anyone else had some suggestions. Thanks!

I use this one in the garage.
Believe its narrower than a regular cup and helps if your always burning the edges.Comment

If you are anywhere near a Lego Land the lids from the "Pick a brick" cup are the exact diameter of a cup and are not very deep. It's what I used. Here is a link to just an image of what it looks like.
