ANyone familiar or used these mats? Seems like they have good reviews on amazon. Was looking for something cheaper I could fill the entire sim space with. It doesn't appear to have any kind of rubber underneath just the turf so wasn't sure how this would be off a hard surface.

I use this mat with my GC2 and have had it from my earlier days when I only hit into a net. It's a great inexpensive option. I use it on a wooden platform without any issues, and I use to have it on concrete when I hit into a net. For the price, it's fantastic.

I have it as well and have a subfloor designed so it can sit in nicely flush with the floor. not sure I'd recommend it for the whole floor. I went to Menards and got putting turf for the rest of the room. 0.42c sqft. amazing deal and ball rolls very true.US - Eastern Time Zone

Hi!
I own one. It is very thick and feels realistic - something akin to a lush fairway. It's almost "mushy" underfoot.
I don't think it's advisable as something to cover your sim space with. Not sure what you'd gain. It's really meant for hitting off of.
You'll notice that some users build a recess into their platform to accomodate the 1 1/2 inch thickness.
My advice would be to buy one and try it.

Bubs, glad I'm not the only one... My tee flicks backwards off of the monster as well. Part of the reason I don't use it all of the time.Originally posted by bubs3141 View Posthow do you guys like the insert tee option. I find on mine the tee always flys backwards and hit people or things.

With this monster mat are you guys able to hit down on the ball and not loose a bunch of ball speed if you catch a bit of mat first?
Also can you putt off this mat ok as for straight putts and not getting a wobble with the thicker turf?Mountain Time
