Which mat provides the most realistic simulation of spin off of natural grass? Is there a consensus?

There can only be one consensus
if you strike the ball first with your hand the shaft and club head in the proper position
it doesn’t matter if your hitting off black top
the effect of the Matt isn’t to effect impact but your perception after impact
if your hitting it fat on a lose Matt you’ll hit it high on the face decreasing distance and increasing spin
same shot on cce you’ll bury slow the club and either shut down or splay open the face
other Matt’s you’ll bounc into the ball
some Matt’s may recreate your best simulation based on the condition of your swing and the grass you play on
the trick with Matt’s is to
a make sure your hitting the ball first and be have a Matt that your comfortable hitting into
matts get a bad rap because most of us don’t make great contact
make great contact and the Matt so long as it’s not overly punishing to hit down into
shouldnt matter
me I like
truestrike and a Matt I still can’t figure out who makes it
but if I could it would be my top choice ( many fitters use this hitting surface tru golf, club champ both use similar )
