    Adjustable Putting Green - The Only Green

    Howdy

    Not sure how many people have come across this.

    It is a pretty sweet setup, but I don't think at $4k, I could justify it. With that being said there are tons of smart people out here. Wondering if anybody had thoughts on how to make it. Any ideas would help. Would love to to have something like this.

          Here are my thoughts... Very cool indeed! I get the cool factor; totally. I apparently have grown an affinity to spending inordinate amounts of cash on this crazy obsession we call "golf". But am I off-base when I read the comments about the "best putting surface ever"? That won't help my game a bit... So how is putting on the ideal surface supposed to help your putting IRL? Don't get me wrong, putting on artificial greens can be beneficial. Absolutely! I own a Tour Links practice green myself. But seriously... $4k to $12k for that? Man, I never thought I'd say this after all the money I've spent at this point, but wow!

              Well, outside my range, but I think they are positioning it as a custom made piece of furniture with the finest materials, etc. etc.

                  Just build a putting green with some lumber, birdie ball mat and some golf hole cups. If you want to change the breaks make thin wood shims and put it between the raised wood platform and the birdie ball.

                  Same exact result for less than $500

                      I have thought of making something similar to this. Currently using a big moss and some foam shims to change grade. Works for me...

                              Exactly. I built a 4' x 18' birdie ball putting green/platform with 3 regulation cups for a little over $300.
