Hello Everyone,
I went to the projectorcentral site, but their calculator doesn't give me the information I need.
I am trying to figure out if i need a short-throw projector or not. I am leaning towards no. My screen/room dimensions are as follows.
Screen: 12x10
Room Width: 13
Depth: 20+ft
Hitting Distance: 8ft from screen
Ceiling height: 13ft
I am trying to figure out, if I utilize keystoning, do I need a short throw because I am standing 8ft from the screen? Or will I be able to have the projector high enough and at an angle that I will avoid shadows from hitting @ 8ft. I am trying to find the cheapest possible projector. I can also make the room very dark if needed.
Also, I am hitting off center(about a foot) to give room for driver practice swings behind me. So I think I will need to project on the right side of the screen and just have a part of the left side(am a righty) of the screen not projected on. Not sure what the best way to deal with this is.
