Just bought the BenQ TH671 ST projector and am waiting for my Carl's Place 8x12, 16:10 aspect ration screen/enclosure. I saw that positioning from projector is 9' 4" from impact screen. My ball position is 10 feet from impact screen and 1 1/2 feet to the right of center to allow me room for my follow through. The wall on the left side is a little tight. I bought a mount that is pretty tight to the ceiling since I only have just over 8 1/2 feet of height to work with.
My question is where can I or do I need to position the projector horizontally so it's not in jeopardy of getting hit and also is ideally positioned to project the best image? I am a total novice with projectors so any advice on how to maximize the 16:9 aspect ratio on a 16:10 screen is welcomed. Actually any input on what I should keep in mind is welcomed :-)
