Hello, I've been lurking around these forums for awhile but have never posted. I drew a lot of ideas when putting together my room from several projects I've seen here.
I have almost everything setup except the projector part. At this point I simply think I went with a larger screen then I can fill at this point and could use any suggestions on what projector is possibly going to work best for my situation even if it doesn't fill the screen.
The room dimensions are
15 and half long
13 and half wide
9 foot ceiling
The Screen dimensions are (viewable area)
102 inches high
136 inches wide
4:3 aspect
Ball sits around 8 feet on the mat from the impact screen. and the impact screen and framing for it sits 2 feet off the wall. leaving 13 and half feet from the screen to the back wall.
I went with the 4:3 because I wanted the screen as high to the ceiling as possible to not have issues with hitting most wedges. I currently have no issues swinging any of my clubs and am so far happy with the setup as I can get my feed back from the TV on the wall behind me. However the ultimate goal was also to work in a projector.
Trying to figure out a projector has been almost over whelming. I at one point scheduled a home theater person from a BestBuy to come in and give a suggestion. He basically said he'd have to do some research and get back to me, and has basically ghosted me as I've heard nothing form him. And I'm left trying to figure out the best solution for the situation again. and am stuck as the viewable area start just a few inches from the ceiling with only 13 feet from the screen seems to make it difficult.
