  • Projector Offset?

I'm completely new to this so feel free to shoot me down immediately, but what are the drawbacks of putting a short throw projector on the floor to the right of my hitting mat (right handed golfer) and in front of a SkyTrak (aside from risk of getting hit by bounce-backs)? I'm looking at the BenQ HT1085ST and it would be about 5-7 feet in front of a 100"ish wide screen and about 1-1.5 feet off of center. This model has vertical and horizontal keystone correction and I understand you lose resolution when you use this feature, is there anything else that would prevent this? It seems like no one puts their projectors here in the sim setups I've seen. I'd build something to protect it, but I don't want to run wires to the projector on the ceiling if possible. Also, I only have 8' 2" ceilings. Thanks for any advice!

The only drawback is people report that Keystone effects the image a little.

there is a company that makes a cover for the projector. In fact they have a complete studio I have my eye on,

DESCRIPTION Projector & Projector Box Package This projector and projector box combo can be used with any of our Ulti Mat 2 Mats.  It is the key component that makes our golf studios completely portable.  The box features a plexiglass front to protect your projector.    Other Features: Tool Free Assembly Built in cooling system to protect your projector from overheating  Steel construction so you can walk on it   Prevents the need to hang a projector and therefore has no visible wiring.   HD 3D Ready Ultra Short Throw projector produces a 10 foot image from just a short
