I'm completely new to this so feel free to shoot me down immediately, but what are the drawbacks of putting a short throw projector on the floor to the right of my hitting mat (right handed golfer) and in front of a SkyTrak (aside from risk of getting hit by bounce-backs)? I'm looking at the BenQ HT1085ST and it would be about 5-7 feet in front of a 100"ish wide screen and about 1-1.5 feet off of center. This model has vertical and horizontal keystone correction and I understand you lose resolution when you use this feature, is there anything else that would prevent this? It seems like no one puts their projectors here in the sim setups I've seen. I'd build something to protect it, but I don't want to run wires to the projector on the ceiling if possible. Also, I only have 8' 2" ceilings. Thanks for any advice!

The only drawback is people report that Keystone effects the image a little. My Courses:

there is a company that makes a cover for the projector. In fact they have a complete studio I have my eye on,
