  • More Mevo+ Shipping Delays

    Ordered mine from Rain Or Shine Golf on 2/17 and was expected to ship late March. Received an e-mail this morning saying Flighscope has pushed all of their time frames out another month and I should expect mine to ship out late April. So from order date to expected shipping date is roughly 8 weeks.

    Anyone else seeing this? Hopefully all re-sellers are sending the same messages.

      Ordered from Flightscope US 2/22, shipped Thursday 5/28, set to arrive tomorrow 6/2. Will probably be a couple weeks before I get to spend much time with it unfortunately. I had most recently been told that it would be shipping the first week of June, so it shipped a little early. This is likely due to shipments from SA starting to catch up and not take as long to travel/process.

    Update: I ordered my Mevo+ on 3/4 and was supposed to get on 6/8 and received another delay update that now it will be sent on 6/15. They stated it was due to "unforeseen delays".

      Update: Ordered direct Feb 24, shipped May 27 (from Charlotte, NC), arrived to Canada June 3. So 3+ months wait...

      Got a picture of the UPS truck pulling up...to cherish that sweet memory! 😜

      1st post here and signed up to share some news. I asked for an update yesterday from ROS. Below is the message from them

      Good morning Kris,

      I hope that this email finds you well. We did receive some great news from FlightScope last Friday!

      From FlightScope directly: "I have some good news to report on the production front. We are now in a position where we can ramp up production on Mevo+ units. Next week we will be receiving 100 units and I am going to allocate a batch to you (should be around 45 units). After next week, we are expecting to be able to produce 200-250 units per week and I will start allocating more units to you guys as we get stock in."

      Essentially, they have ramped out to full production vs. the 20% capacity they were operating at over the past few weeks so we should be receiving inventory very soon and will fulfill orders in the order they came in! The industry wide backorder started in February, however our first inventory order will be able to take care of all February orders and some of March orders! Your order should be shipping in June/early July!

        That is good news but it would be nice if Flightscope would update us all themselves. They really stink with communication.

        Xfactor I purchased early March and I totaly agree that we should not have to ask for updates..... Especially considering they have our money and emails addresses to communicate progression of this very long backorder.

      Update: I got an email today that my device is going to be shipped next week but no tracking information has been provided yet. They said the tracking number will be provided once it is shipped. I ordered mine on 3/4/2020.

        Just got this email from Flighscope:

        That is correct. The restrictions are slowly being lifted and we are starting to produce more units at a quicker rate. Your order that was placed on the 13the of March is scheduled to ship out later this week or early next week. When it has been shipped you will receive a tracking number in order for you to track the progress of your shipment.

          14 weeks was the lead time about a month ago when I placed my order so don't think that is updated for being at full capacity

          I would wait to see how the latest batch is in terms of quality before ordering anyway. Initial runs had significant quality issues. I have one coming in a few weeks. I am hoping it doesn't have issues.

          You have a Mevo+ on order which should have been shipped from South Africa this week but due to a delay in the delivery of some parts it looks like they will now be shipped next week. We do apologise for this further delay.


          “Hello Iain,
          It looks like your units are going to ship early next week. Unfortunately, we had a delay in receiving the cases for the Mevo+ units from our supplier. We thought that we would be receiving them early in the week but there were some unexpected delays. I apologize for the inconvenience and I will keep you updated.”

          As soon as they are shipped and we receive the tracking information from FlightScope I will email you again with a further update.

            Nice!! FYI I got an email last week that my device was going to ship this week but now looks like it won’t ship until next week. Lol. I feel like they are just messing with my emotions.

          I was told today from FS that my order would be shipping out on Monday via UPS. I ordered on 3/12 from Top shelf golf.

          Just had another email from them tonight confirming despatch today from FS and my delivery will on 19th.

            I ordered from Rain or Shine golf on March 9th. They still cannot give me a date or an approximate date.

            ”I hope that this email finds you well. Unfortunately, the FlightScope Mevo+ is still affected by an industry wide backorder that started in February. We are expected to receive our first inventory order since the backorder started early next week which will fulfill all orders submitted in February and a few orders submitted in March.

            The FlightScope production facilities have increased their capacity significantly from 20% to full capacity so they should be able to produce units much more quickly than they have been over previous weeks.

            As soon as we have an exact shipping date for your order we will follow up with you as soon as possible. We apologize for the delay, unfortunately the industry wide backorder is out of our control.

            If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact us. Thank you for choosing Rain or Shine Golf, have a great day!”

            Im really hoping my order wasn’t part of a batch that was placed much later. Kinda regretting I did not order directly from flight scope.

              RoS Golf confirmed their shipment from FS that was expected to arrive 6/13 was delayed to 6/17 due to South Africa not shipping the units in time.

            Is there anybody who has actually received his mevo+ ?

            i’m starting to have serious doubt about FlightScope capability to deliver this new product.
            The delay is far beyond covid19, they should have production, quality or supply chain issues.

            i have ordered directly from them a device the 4th of march morning and they have told me 3 weeks ago that i should be in this week delivery schedule but i have zero notification or any answer to my email.

            thanks for sharing some successfull experience ...

              ordered 2/28 directly from flightscope - received on my doorstep in ohio 6/11. a few hoops to jump thru to get E6 connect (order from FS, get key from them, give key to E6, wait for E6 people to approve) - just downloaded basic late last night. device works well - much less temperamental than i expected. Quickly have realized that i can live with a device having a little trouble with push draws or gear effect or heal shots or whatever the main complaints are in order to play a round of golf with my boys in 45-60 minutes rather than 4 hours, particularly when 90% of amateurs (certainly myself included) have enough trouble simply making solid, consistent contact with the ball. Prelim experience - the mevo+ reads well-struck balls very well, L/R direction off the face very well, thin/chunky shots very well. Putting is tricky/sensitive so far, but my setup isn't great for that, either - might be a negative if i ever get to playing online tournaments. regularly.
