  • More Mevo+ Shipping Delays

    Ordered mine from Rain Or Shine Golf on 2/17 and was expected to ship late March. Received an e-mail this morning saying Flighscope has pushed all of their time frames out another month and I should expect mine to ship out late April. So from order date to expected shipping date is roughly 8 weeks.

    Anyone else seeing this? Hopefully all re-sellers are sending the same messages.

    I don’t understand how can i be delayed again when i’ve ordered weeks or 1 month before some of you that have been noticed of the shipping !!

      I originally ordered with a 3 week lead time only to see it jump several times to where we are not too. Expecting the company to re-ramp up quickly on a new product is hard. Not only did they not know up front what the original volume would be (again- new product line). They didn't know Covid was going to happen when they launched it. Think about Tesla. They launched their cars a couple years ago and still you can't walk up and walk out with you car. Takes months to get it and they are still constantly late on shipments. Basically unless Flightscope is straight up trying to steal from you, and they are not since they have been in business for 30+ years, They definitely want to get this to you. There is no benefit to them to drag out your or my order. It sucks. Totally agree. Should they try and be better at communicating? Absolutely. But I also somewhat optimistically think maybe they have "all hands on deck" type thing going on to try and speed up production, rather than having people sitting at a computer replying to emails....Just hopeful thoughts I guess. Based on your order date and mine, it sounds like your order would likely be shipping out in the same batch so hopefully today out of NC from my last discussion with them.

      Sure this is hard for them, I agree with you, but It is partially because of their production model too, the FlightScope company in SA has 47 employees (corporate info from registry) including R&D , administration, ... They need a chinese partner to assemble parts directly from China to be more flexible about production volumes.

      Any chance you got your tracking number yesterday too? I think you had ordered your right before me (albeit from a different source).

    Was told Friday last week that it would be shipping out Monday. Woke up today (Tuesday) with this email:

    Good morning Drew,


    I apologize that was a mistake by me, your unit ships out with the batches today (16/06).

    At least the estimates are getting closer...Guess we will see if it actually ships today. Ill update when I find out.

      Called the number on their website since I wasn't getting a reply to my emails. Was given some new info today I didn't know about. So apparently my unit is not coming out of South Africa anymore. It is already in the US. They are waiting on DHL to deliver it to their warehouse and supposedly will be turning it around and re-shipping it out same day...Again supposedly today. I was told I can call back at about 4pm eastern to check status on that. (Should be leaving from North Carolina). So while it didn't officially ship out to me yet, I am happy to hear it is going to be shipping from the US which should help with the transit time once shipped.

    New update from RoS. Was supposed to arrive at their store tomorrow but is delayed again until early next week. Below is their email. I ordered from them 2/17.


    “I hope that this email finds you well. I just heard from FlightScope this morning regarding our inventory order:

    The good news is that your stock is in transit to us from South Africa but unfortunately it is only estimated to arrive in Charlotte Monday or Tuesday of next week. There was some type of delay with the airline that was unexpected.

    Sometimes the estimated arrival can change and it can get here early so I will stay in touch with you in the next couple days to keep you updated."

    It is now looking like your order will ship early next week. We sincerely apologize for the delay, unfortunately the shipping delays are out of our control. As soon as we have an update we will follow up with you as soon as possible.”

      Wow there’s guys from mid February who ordered from Rain or shine golf that are still in limbo. Definitely lesson learned .

        I ordered directly from flightscope 16th february and received my unit 12th march. Of course you'll have to wait longer if you pay 300-400 dollars less. But the fact that they have already waited for 4 months and haven't received their units is awful.

      It is a bit of a joke in my opinion, they should have been more transparent with the issues. Everyone understands the circumstances but as stated above they had issues before Covid, so was only going to get worse. I wont believe anything im told until my unit lands on my porch

        Exactly, I would love to read a testimony of a Genuine customer who has ordered it late February or later about how he received and installed his Mevo+ with joy hopefully 😉

        I agree with you Alex. I ordered from FS on 2/17 and received mine on 5/22. Once I got the setup correct and how to connect to iPad or my PC, it's great and a lot of fun. It's helped me identify the slight pull draw I have any how to get rid of it. Also my driver swing speed has increased by 4 mph on average (and increasing) as I work on my mechanics, even my iron speeds have gotten higher. It also helped me get the correct loft setting on my driver for best launch conditions. It's been fun playing TGC2019 as well.

        Mine arrived yesterday! I got to try it out for a bit and overall was okay. I think I need to make adjustments to my set up or something. The FS Golf app seems to be off by 10-20 yards but E6 range seemed more accurate. I don't know...need to test out more stuff. But at least it is here!

          My tracking number estimates Wednesday next week. Looking forward to getting it, but not sure what to do with my time now that I can't yell at Flightscope anymore lol I guess I can call and yell at UPS till they deliver...

          So glad to read that mevo+ is actually delivered to some of you.
          Still no notification even if i ordered the same day than you, i hope they didn’t loose it .

      • Today is 22 of June, it is officially more than 14 weeks i’m expecting the delivery from the 4th of march.

        14 weeks is the lead time Flightscope announces to the new buyers.

        First time they announced to me that they postpone it was supposed to be for 6 weeks.

        And the social medias or full of advertisements for a « gift for your Daddy » , this is out of control, fathers will get something for Halloween 🎃

          I ordered from them full price.
          Last week they told me end of week
          Today they told me that they had some dhl issue (someone here received his mevo and thursday so i don’t trust that statement)
          And they said that i would receive a notification tomorrow

          I really don’t think that the customer service tracks orders individually they just send general insights or excuses.

      • Lmao I saw the ad on social media for Father’s Day. I thought the same thing. Order it for Father’s Day so you could give it to them for Christmas 🤦🏽‍♂️

        I have also been patiently waiting 14 weeks. Placed my order on March 9th from Rain or Shine golf. The last update they sent me a few weeks ago stated “early mid July”. I was optimistic it would be here sooner after they said the production was up and running in South Africa. It looks like the update was accurate unfortunately.

        I am just glad the input I’m seeing from the people who have actually received them is quite positive.

          Man that sucks! I ordered from Top Shelf Golf a couple days AFTER you (3/12), and mine already shipped (should be in on 6/24). Have you reached out to FS Directly or just though Rain or Shine?

          RoS is picking up units tomorrow and mine should be shipped out tomorrow or Wednesday so I'm hopeful to get it this weekend. We'll see though.....heard that before.

      • A few weeks, ago FS told me it would ship this week. I expect it won't ship till Mid July. I ordered 3/21.

        • I'm probably going to take a lot of flack and I appreciate everyone that hasn't received their units is frustrated (and I know I would be too if I hadn't received mine in an early batch which I think I made by 10 units based on my discussion at the time and my serial number being 10 off a fairly round number).

          For reference during COVID though I have ordered things that were in stock, were shipped by the store the next day then took over 6 weeks to arrive on what would normally be 2 day shipping. I have had multiple packages sit at the UPS sorting facility 10 minutes from my house for weeks before going out for delivery. If you're trying to manufacture hundreds or thousands of units all it takes is one important package of components to get stuck somewhere to screw everything up. And in my situation calling UPS or checking online every day said "your package will be delivered tomorrow" which it obviously wasn't for weeks on end. I'd hope as a business account FS would get a bit better service from their shipping provider but frankly it could be one component got held up months on top of their own delays. This would also make it hard for FS to give realistic updates (not saying silence is great if that is what folks received) as they could be hearing "tomorrow" for the key component only to be let down also.

          I ordered a guitar amp at the onset of COVID with very similar messaging to Mevo+ that wait time would be a couple weeks. My last update (of which this is the second so it's not like this other company has kept me in the loop much either) has told me "maybe in July". The amp was ordered because of all the free time we'd have during COVID but by the time it gets here the likelihood of all this free time to teach myself guitar will have passed.

          I appreciate defending FS may not be popular in this thread but I felt compelled to do it for two reasons. First, I think the device is great and I think the vast majority of people will put the annoying wait behind them after they get up and running. Second, FS customer service has been amazing on every interaction for me from working with me to change my shipping details last minute as I was going to be in Florida instead of Canada when it shipped to helping me through some technical items when I wasn't sure if setup or firmware were causing some questionable data.

          This forum is pretty quiet lately so I'm looking forward to you all having units to get some more posts going.

            I agree with you Gresh12. I ordered back in March with a 3 week lead time. Luckily mine should be arriving tomorrow via UPS (provided It doesn't sit in a warehouse for a few more weeks)...While frustrated with the delay. I tried to be patient with FS because I fully understand what they are going through. My company just recently was able to fill orders from back in March too and after talking to some of my customers, I tried to be nicer to the FS people than mine were to me. I mentioned it earlier as well that if they could get them out faster they would; if for no other reason that to get us to stop calling! lol

            I'm not frustrated with Flightscope -- they are just a link in part of the supply chain and can only control so much. I am, however, frustrated with RoS with their communication. It has been sparse and only occurred after I initiate an e-mail to them (ie no proactive communication). On top of that, and maybe the worst of all, is that they never informed me that they batch orders and because of that, my unit was delayed for the 3 months. I really wish they didn't batch their orders although I'm sure it's common. At the very least, an acknowledgement of what occurred and an apology would be nice.

            I read a testimony on reddit from a customer than had received no answer when asking to be refund. I really hope that this company is reliable and is just not going out of business with our money.

        • Well I was told it was going to get shipped out yesterday, comes to find out now it won’t be shipped till July 13. I understand the situation but come on stop telling one date then almost push it back another 2 weeks

            Hey if you have the money and the space to do it why not...It costs 5x more and you can't use it outside, but if you don't care about that then you just got your unit faster, and got somebody else their Mevo+ order pushed up. Sounds like a Win/Win.

            Yep. Cost more but I’ll pay more also if I can trust the data (And more data). I had mine for 3 months and it gave me poor returns. Sold it. I don’t know what it was, but it was 3 months of frustration. Not worth it. Others are having much better returns and I hope everyone else has great success as it has great potential. But it was data I was unable to trust.
