This was a ton of work and honestly so much going on at once tough to focus on hitting the ball lol. What do you think?

Great video. I would like to see skytrak moved so you could take out variable of it interfering with M+ unit. Seems like M+ was definitely reading less side spin. I did notice on short irons M+ read consistently longer than QED but on long irons M+ read consistently shorter than QED. I would like to see driver comparison between QED and M+ in future. Keep it up, good info.

Okay Jay, now I have to cancel my cable as all I’m doing is watching your YouTube channel at night!! Lol 😆. Looking forward to the driver comparison. Make sure you hit a few toe shots please. I know you can do it.....

I haven't re-watched a bunch of videos to confirm this, but it seems like the missed reads on the Mevo+ when doing short chipping might be dependent on how much follow through there is with the club. When there is less follow-through, the club doesn't get as high and decelerates while still between the mevo+ and the ball, and maybe that's interfering with the radar readings on the ball. I don't have my device yet, but if you just take a practice swing without hitting the ball, I'm assuming the device doesn't read. Maybe it's seeing these as practice swings if it can't get a good read on the ball due to the club not following through. I recall watching several videos shortly after the Mevo+ came out and this seemed to be the case.
For example, your shot at ~18:00, it looks like you decelerate the club and stop the follow-through early, leaving the club about 1 foot off the floor. The subsequent shot at ~18:50 (with slightly longer carry), you have a lot more follow through and don't decelerate the club nearly as fast.
Interested to see if you have any thoughts around this considering the time you have spent with the system.Last edited by farFromScratch; 05-21-2020, 06:22 PM.

From Ron's GungHoGolf comparison between TGC and E6 Connect, E6 uses the ball flight model from both Skytrak and Mevo+ resulting in next to no environmental impact. Once the ball hits the ground, the E6 physics take over. Based off this information, I don't think the wind has an affect on Skytrak numbers.Originally posted by jvh42 View PostAlso have to remember the wind factor on QED and Skytrak, they could account for the slight carry differences

Very consistent with my observations that SkyTrak reads spin axis a bit high and Mevo+ a bit low (not saying QED is perfect but my guess is that tech should have best chance at spin indoors).
I’m definitely curious on longer clubs. I decided not to bother with another comparison today vs TM4 until I get .09 firmware as I think I’ve got right bias issues with less lofted clubs for now.
