  • Full Swing Kit - New Launch Monitor

Well, one of the big players is jumping into the consumer market for launch monitors. According to the webpage, Full Swing is releasing the “Kit” for $4k, and the reported metrics looks to include club pash and face angle at impact. The product page is light on details, but this looks to be the kind of product that could really disrupt Foresight’s hold on the midrange market.

FULL SWIING offers industry-leading golf simulators and launch monitors, trusted by major champions like Tiger Woods, to deliver unparalleled sports technology experiences for enthusiasts and professionals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Curious, How do you know they are “sold out”? Are people who are putting deposits down now getting an email from full swing that their full swing kit “has been reserved”? Someone had posted earlier that the initial production run was for 50k units. Not sure if that was true or not.

I paid the deposit last night and got an email saying my Full Swing kit has been reserved.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was referring to Skytrak and Mevo not advertising much right now per a previous post.. They can't keep their product on the shelf right now.

Reserved mine as well. It will have to be significantly better than my Mevo+ for me to move forward with purchase. That would primarily mean greater accuracy (spin primarily) into my net with the longer clubs.

I jumped in and paid my deposit. Fingers crossed that it performs as well as they are touting it in their marketing. If not then I will request a refund “no harm, no foul”.

Any updates from Full Swing? Or should we anticipate an update at the PGA show later this month?

They said they would be making an announcement this month at the PGA Show. We should be hearing something this week then!

Came across this an hour ago and just put my deposit down. Here's hoping!

Word is the full swing kit will not be using TGC2019 from Wes Armstrong at FSG. He stated the kit it not meant to be used for indoor golf simulation system. Very disappointing news in the least.

If there is any truth to this, they are going to get a lot of cancellations.

Yeah, I hope that this is not true.....if it is, why would anyone buy this over a GC2?

Will that be clarified this week? I wonder why they’d exclude the indoor market. Even TrackMan works with TGC2019 and so does the FlightScope X3.

I sent them an email today. Got the same response.

This is completely opposite of what the first posters said they heard directly from the company. This seems more reliable info, but very disappointing to be different from the original specs.

Well maybe it’s not gonna be as bad as people think or what they’ve heard. I’ve asked for a refund on my deposit but not because of any of these reasons. Just decided to go with something else.

A few posts above, email response from them says not suitable for indoor golf sim, this one says suitable for both indoor and outdoor. And that it will be a good “addition to your bag” so seemingly portable so only usable on the range/practice areas as an aid...?

I’m not sure what market segment they are targeting this for!

I am guessing you take it to the range with the courses loaded up on a laptop or tablet and play them while hitting on the range?

which is arguably the dumbest scenario imaginable. "Hey I want to go play 9. OK let's head to the driving range!"
