Where can we go to register or sign up for tournaments? Ive been on TGCtours website and signed up for the True Sim Tour thinking that was skytrak simulator but after reading more it seems that is for the PC/console game. I'm new to TGC with the skytrak and the TGCtour site can be confusing with all the different tours, challenge circuits etc. Thanks for any input!

That website is nothing to do with the Protee run tournaments. Go to the link below for the official site. Also go to the online play section in this forum and read the stickies on getting started and rules etc. That should be enough to get you going.

Go to the Online Play forum on this site and look for the winter tour thread (I think it’s a stickie). Print the schedule and tape it up in your sim room. Launch TGC and navigate to Play Tournament. Select All Tournaments and search for the tournament currently scheduled. Play well and have fun.
Also, you’ll want to look at the form rules thread (as mentioned by simmb), and also the one about how to turn on shot recording.

awesome thanks. The problem i have is when i click the link it sends me to the home page but when i click sign in it opens up a new window and cycles me back to this forum. Which im already signed into. Is there a glitch or am i missing something? Do i need to do the Q-School tournament starting tomorrow before i can enter the other tournaments?Originally posted by simmb View PostThat website is nothing to do with the Protee run tournaments. From what I can figure there is only one sign in - the one on the "forums" page. There is not a separate sign in for the "tours" page. To get started I played the Q-School tournaments. My shot recording is now working and I hope to play in the Winter Tournament this week.

No, you don't have to do the Q-School tournament to play in other tournaments but your handicap will be at 0.0 until you have five tournament rounds, whether Q-School or tournament, completed. Additionally, you need to have shot recording turned on for those first five tournament rounds, and all future tournament rounds, or your rounds won't count in establishing your handicap and your handicap will automatically be set to -36.0.
You can go play the par 3 tourney or the Sentry right now. Read mthunt's response below, and once you have the public tourney filter on, select the ProTee Christmas Par 3 Challenge or the Sentry Tournament of Champions and get to having fun.

There is no sign up. All you need to do is start a game in TGC then tournament then select public tournament then one that is a ProTee tournament. I suggest your TGC name be the same as your Forum name and you need to turn on shot recording. Instructions are in this forum. My Courses:

mthunt, is it possible to have more than one tour player per SIM or is it limited to one player. I know I can add players to my tournament rounds, but how do I add other players to the tour so they can compete in the tournaments and not just play the course along side me. Thanks for any input.

We are very lucky that we get the TGC tour thrown in with TGC for free but an optional annual subscription to the tour for non sim owners would be great. I know a few people that use mine regularly who would happily pay a few quid(dollars) a year to play on the tour.
