mthunt I have designed a course with a few holes and wanted to try to play them sim style. I published the course.. How long does it take to get the published course on the system so we can play it sim!!!?

If you publish it from your sim version of TGC it'll be there instantly. From the steam version it'll be a long time ergo publish from the sim version. My Courses:

If there is a good info thread regarding this please point me in the right direction
Few more follow up questions..
Do you design within TGC ( the one you play sim golf on) or within the console/pc version?
Is one way better than the other or the same?
You can play your course mid design ( with a real ball)?
Does having the both the versions on the machine cause any conflict? I suspect that it has/does change my settings.. gimmes for instance?

Check out this guys tutorials - they have been really helpful for me just starting. I soon realized I am not anywhere near the level of some of these guys http://www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=10305.0
I design within TGC. You will see an option on the right menu to play a hole or play from a spot. I can't remember where it is exactly. If you are designing for sim I would design in the sim program so you can take real shots and see where the ball lands and where it will roll out and if any objects get in the way. I am not sure about the last question but I would assume the defaults are different
This thread shows the controls which lists how to play holes http://www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=3033.0

TGC steam and TGC sim have the same designer. There is no difference in designing. The only difference is TGC sim publishes to the sim server and TGC steam publishes to the steam sever. Steam server courses are sync'd to TGC sim but not visa versa. There is no way to use your sim to test a design without publishing. You must use the mouse. My Courses:

Yes but it might take a few weeks. ProTee runs a sync.Originally posted by alheff1231 View PostIf I created and published a course on my PS4, will it be available for play on TGC for the simulator/skytrak version? My Courses:
