There's a lot of noise about the growth of the golf industry and articles are easy to find regarding that growth, I added one here.. I know that local courses are booming, clubs are selling, Skytraks and others are in high demand.
From what I can see, Uneekor raised it's price by $1K simply b/c it could, and it feels like the explosion of golf has no end in sight.
We all are on this forum b/c we are interested in or active in the simulator market, and I'm curious what people know about the future of the market. Skytrak could clearly raise it's price to $3500 and still be backordered. Ernest, which I have, probably has it the price ceiling. But I feel like there has to be a competitor to Uneekor coming into the market at that 7-10K price range. Or someone that enters at $5K that blows Ernest and Skytrak out of the water.
It clearly takes years to develop this tech, so my question is basically this: Does anyone known of new tech coming down the pipeline for 2021 that would be worth waiting for? Or should I upgrade to Uneekor now? I don't want to invest and then have a brand new model in 21 or 22 come blasting on to the scene.
