Almost ready to take the dive with TGC 2019. Still need to add netting on the walls/ceiling and finish the floor.
6mm steel cables for net and screen frames.
14 inches between screen and back wall.
3inches between screen and tensioned golf net behind.
king size duvet hanging between screen and net behind.
Can use all clubs, no balls have hit back wall.
BenQ mx842ust (nice and cheap). Have an image around 2m tall X 2.6m so slightly wider than needed but beams prevent moving it a little closer.
screen attached with a combination of zip ties, bungee cord and tarp clips. Not attached at bottom as per tips on the forum.
Net attached using just zip ties.
picture was taken when bottom right screen was not secured as zip ties kept being broken so replaced with a short piece of bungee cord.
The ball only bounces a foot or two back, which is much better than I had imagined.
Tomahawk neo golf tees just arrived today so shall try them out later!
All of the tips from other builds on here helped a lot, I found myself with many options and changed my mind countless times, with this as the end result.
How I manage in such a small space... I'm 5ft 7
