    Guideline Change:

    Driver Setting:

First of all every Golfer needs to know their Distance that hit the Driver, most of us know this...

Because the Speed to distance relationship is wrong in Optishot, we need to get both corrected with settings..

First is knowing your Distance... Once you know your Distance the first thing that needs to be corrected is the Speed Setting... Using the a simple proven calculation of Speed * 2.5 = Distance we can all set our Speed in relationship to Distance the same... This is not a perfect science but will get everyone to what they hit in real life...

After the Speed setting is adjusted Correctly, the Distance will be adjusted to match your True distance on the Golf Course.....

If Distance seem to be Long the Board will address it one on one with the Player/....

    Enjoy,

    And Happy New Year CatMan

Good job guys. Video is a compromise I see, hope everyone plays honest and will never be truly needed.

Thanks for your work John. Greatly appreciated. Video is still strongly encouraged but we just decided requiring it wasn't advantageous at this time. Just have to step back and trust people sometimes. Hopefully it won't be an issue, like you said.

Catman, I tried my settings as stated in the guidelines-rules by creating another set of clubs and found that I cannot get even close to my real distances. my on course D range is around 280-320 and at your settings I cant even get to 250 unless there is an "OPTISHOT SHOT" as my son and I call it, a glitch. We run Optishot 2 and havnt been too happy. I have seen your youtube vids and adjusted our D - 3W - 4 -H per your tape methods. This made it better but still didn't get our real distances close to your 100-88 percentages.
We are interested in playing the online tournaments but with the settings we see there is no way possible to compete. I am wondering if our sensor pad is defective if all of you are getting results using the 88-100 formula. Are you on OS2 or OS1?

I think the consensus on the Site if you look at all the testing that was done, that this was pretty close to reel distance, your sensors might be off or it could be your lighting?? Not sure..

Has anyone come up with a way to calibrate at home or do I have to send it back to DD?
