John M.. you got a great swing bud, tough break on back nine.... but still a great score.. I needed to enter to retain scorecard, hope I didn't distract you..

Dig the Beard too , looks like you had a funky reading with 3Wood on 16

I was watching most of your round. You got off to a flying start ! It's a tough back nine though. I couldn't reach a couple of those long par 4's in 2 shots into the wind !

Also I never holed a reasonable length putt. Took 31 putts compared to your 25 ! I was thinking of using the Sand-saves stat for Fairways Hit but not sure if it might spoil the stats for others.

Anyway, well played !! Do you want to play the 2nd round together or would you prefer to play on your own in a Tournament.

Apolgies for the colourful language, got a bit annoyed lol

Although I blamed optishot I think it may well have been me a lot of the time, although never normally slice it certainly crept in towards the end of the round. Was interupted by chap who worls for me so think that put me off.

Anyway, happy with front nine, so shows turf can work ok. Think may have to ditch the 3 wood though. Cant seem to get her under control. never normally use it as dont normally need it in real life

My 3 wood & 5 wood both slice on the Optishot, whereas in real-life I tend to draw the ball.

I was thinking of adjusting the off-sets to get them straightened out if that's allowed.

I've ordered a golf impact net, stance mat & some Almost Balls, so I'll wait until I get set up.

That wasn't even fun to play I've never shot a 97 in real life way too many unplayable balls and then it put you in the same spot As the unplayable? Very frustrating

Cheers mate, on its day its not too bad.

As much as I blamed optishot watching it back something did change in my swing, think i was casting a bit, just optisot obviously exagerrates the effects lol

3 wood was a nightmare on back 9, lots of misreads, although i did top a few which does cause the crazy 300 yarders lol

Will get it straightened out eventually, think its setup all ok as front nine worked great, maybe just need some minor offset tweaks.

Love the beard. Used to be in the Air Force so had to be clean shaven every day for 9 years, soon as I left to become a farmer had a beard ever since lol

I think back tees will not be my friend. Too much 3 wood needed lol

Yes, just adjust the offsets. You still have to put a good swing on it otherwise you would start hitting severe hooks with the offset exaggerated. So, this isn't gaining any kind of advantage. Just one of the things that requires some adjusting on the Optishot for some people in order to match real world results.

Yeah I love my little Teego

Oh and no you didn't distract me at all when entering. Didn't reply as was in a bit of a frustrated mindset amd didnt even notice until the end lol

Just need to get fully acustomed to the the new turf I think, although must admit again when I do miss in real life it is a push. Not the slice thats showed on opti but is a push so outcome would be similar i guess.

Its the topping that causes my major issue, appreciate its difficult with the way the software works but be good if they could come up with something. Be cool if you could adjust the sensitivity of the received IR reflection from the club. Would solve 2 issues, one if you topped ball the relfection level would be lower, ie further away from sensors compared to normal swing, and also if using thick turf could turn up the sensitivy so got a stronger reflection despite it being further away. (If thats how the machine works, im only guessing)

Would be great to know exactly how it works

Then I came back to earth , couple of those par 4's on the back nine play like 5's. Had a couple putts lip out , two long misreads off the tee , 1 in the fairway, one that went 317 yds into the unplayable crap Definately a premium on accuracy off the tee.

Duper check your stats if you are on the GIR you don't fill out the Scramble Stat,, GIR is always yes or no, If GIR is No then the Scrambling Stat will be either Yes or No depending on if you saved par.. Putts only count on the Green not anywhere else... Sand Saves are only filled out if your in the Sand around the Green and you get up and down to save par.. If you save par then yes if you don't save par then no...

                                Guys on Stats,

GIR will always be yes or no
Puttss will always be filled in
Scramble only filled out when not GIR, should be Yes or No depending on whether or not you save Par..
Sand Saves, When Landing in Greenside Bunker, then getting up and down to save Par or in for Birdie... Again either Yes or No Yes you saved it or no you did not..

                                Thanks
