The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island Starts 19th January

BRUUUUUTAL........that was the worst round I've ever played. I've never had so many weird readings on my Opti before. Hit a shot with 12.5mph tailwind , goes 2 clubs long, fair enough , club down one on next shot , goes 30yds shorter than normal for that club, with the normal ss AND the same tailwind. SS's for my driver were all over the place, usually pretty close , is that how opti simulates the wind ? By the 7th hole I had no idea what club to hit at all..lol Wind gets in my head outside too , gotta work on that. Been a long time since I wanted to throw a golf club , had to stop myself 5 or 6 times.......lol. I hate golf.....

Thanks.boys ! That was a very tough course for guys who spray it like me :-) Great round Catman and sorry we hacked it around together Vinny. I still.hate Moderate wind on any course as it affects the putts too much and my unplayabe count was 4 or 5 !!

Great round John. I was all over the map. I think I wasn't accounting for the wind enough. And yeah, I couldn't get a putt to the hole if it was in to the wind. Glad to get that round behind me. Still trying to figure out how the system figured Kiawah as one stroke easier than the default handicap. That place is tough.

Alright, I finally got the course pushed to my account. I finished doing a practice round. Actually shot pretty well. Played safe a lot. I don't like that 240 yard Par 3 over water....LOL. That hole could be dangerous!

Thanks Guys, I just striped it today. What can I say.... and no 3 putts. Plus a 60' bomb on 18 for the birdie. It was a good day.

I got the old snip snip yesterday so I'm recovering at the moment. I'm planning on playing my last two rounds either one later Saturday, depending on how I feel or both on Sunday.
