What about 3D printed tees?

My first test prints are going to be with Gizmo Dorks Flexible TPU shore hardness of 96A.
Next will be with some generic TPU shore hardness of 80.

MatterControl says printing these 4 tees without supports will cost 38 cents.

Did you try 100% infill?

I like the idea of it being clearish. It may not interfere with SkyTrak as much.

Would it be possible to maybe design and print a mold similar to the birtee and then smear something like silicone into it. Just a thought

I like it. With the basic cone design you could print a two piece mold design. Put a dollop of silicone in the bottom and press the top cone mold piece till the silicone oozes out the top.

I just finished the first print at 20% infill with a cubic pattern. I think it’s fairly indestructible but the infill could be taken all the way up to 100%

i made the mistake of leaving it at 100% infill. this print is going to take awhile

I have a lot to learn about 3D printing. I assumed, unless you specify otherwise, the inside of mesh volumes would be solid. With MatterControl, setting infill to 100% the inside is not solid. Looking into hobby injection molding and voxel printing.

Well, that one should be basically indestructible. I just printed one at 50% infill and I don’t think this would fail for years . It also sits flat on a fiberbuilt nice and flat every time you put it down. It might slide 1/4 inch in some direction and settle, but it doesn’t tilt.

I personally think the one made without the long windows would have held up if the same model was just made a solid. It always broke between those spaces

They work well with SkyTrak. They weigh almost nothing. I've never broken one but somehow I lose them.

Here is a pic at 50% infill. When I can start swinging again, I expect this to last quite some time.
