Very enjoyable two rounds and certainly an easier course than we've had the past couple of weeks. I was having my best tournament, by far, until I met the 15th on round number two. I decided to put two in the water from 71 feet away (I can't hit 60-90 yard distance with accuracy to save my life). I ended up taking a marvelous 10 on that hole, which ruined everything. Went on tilt for the remaining 3 holes, tripled 16 (glad the stadium wasn't full and laughing at me). Lesson learned: if you put two back to back shots in the water during the end of a 2 round tournament, might be best to have a beer before attempting the next hole.

I do believe there is an error with my score, however. The standings show that I'm -8 for the two rounds, but it should be +2 or +3. Also, when I click on my name to view the scorecards, only the scorecard from my 2nd round pops-up, so I'm not exactly sure what the issue is.

For what it's worth, I did notice something screwy in the game (a problem which I may have caused). When I started my first round I didn't have gimmies turned on and so it asked me to take a 5 foot putt on hole #1, which I obviously shanked. I then tried taking a mulligan on that, being as though we have gimmies from 6 feet out. From there, I had to exit the round on hole 2 so I could turn on gimmies from the main screen settings. All was fine from there, until I went to start my 2nd round and it took me back to the 18th tee box. I restarted my computer, and tried starting the 2nd round again and this time I landed on hole 1, and completed my round from there. Not sure if that is tied to the scoring error on the website, but figured I'd give a heads up. I now know, and for others out there to know... make sure your gimmie settings are correct prior to starting the tournament!

When you are in a bunker and it puts you in putting mode with flop shot will it read the spin. I hit it out fine but the ball ran across the green. How do you take it out of putting mode?

I had a good second round but should have been much better. I had 3 three puts on the front from inside 20 feet. I also had 3 or four puts between 7 and 10 feet and didn't make one.

Sadly if it doesn't change from putting to normal mode when you press putter and then any other club then you are just locked into putting mode for that shot

Well, followed up the first round 68 with a second round 73. Overall, I really played well for 2 rounds. On the final round,I birdied 15 and 16 and then followed up with a bogey on the drivable par 4(oops). Really fun!

Here is a round with shot shaping at it's best and at it's worse.... all in the same round. I had a 150 yard par 3 where I was 24 yards to the right.... almost in the water..... and I don't even think that the water hazard is part of that hole. It's worth a good laugh and I did have some good shots on my way to a 65. My short game saved me....now that is something that my friends have not heard from me.... ever.

Had my best round ever preceded by a crap performance where I received the mercy rule on hole 11. Also got my first hole-in-one during my second round. Now only if my IRL game would be so kind...

Great round! Ive said it before and ill say it again, your drives are machine like. Bombs with a picture perfect baby draw anytime you want it it seems. Great shaping too, youre work on that is paying off big time!

Yeah, do you remember.... before Xmas, I was mostly trying to hit straight... even if the hole required a draw or a fade.... I would cut the corner or lay up with less club... That is the great thing about having accurate club data. Straight shots, fades, draws, pushes and pulls all show up.... and you can see them all in that YouTube video. I am nursing a sore arm from hockey and usually don't pull short iron shots like that.... nice to see that my system picks up all the bad shots as well as the good ones. And after my last trip to Golftown to visit their GC2.... I feel really good about the accuracy of my sim.

Thanks, This was a good course to practice moving my drives left and right....Those were big fairways. I had a few shot shaping fails but overall it was a great round. Chipping and putting made the low score. If the short game wasn't hot.... could have been a 75. It was also nice to watch the pros playing the same course we were. Most of the holes were bang on for accuracy. I looked at JRZ's scorecard...... when you get a 1..... it should be in bold and maybe even a little bigger font.

Hey keither5150 watched some of your youtube video. I'm going to have to figure out how to record like that, it's a cool look to post. But how the hell did you manage to play that thing on a day with zero wind! I had 10mph cross winds on like every shot out there

Shut wind off in TGC settings...... No wind for tournament play. We tried having tournament rounds with wind... the majority wanted wind off...so it is off for tournament rounds. There, I just saved you a couple of strokes. If you have an Nvidia card, Geforce experience comes with in game recording..... YouTube it..... there will be instructions on how to do it on YouTube.

Does anyone know why my second round in this tournament wouldn't have posted? I can go into my profile and see that the shots were recorded, but the score never posted to the tournament. Not a huge issue, but would hate to miss out on a good showing.

Not seeing a putt as a last stroke. Did you finish with a gimmie? Also make sure that when you finish the round you go through the rating stuff and back to the main menu. If you switch off your computer right after the round ends, it might not have send the data to the server yet.
                  Working...
