    Kids tour?

It would be really cool if we could start a kids tour. I would think that protee could differentiate tournaments, and therefore only apply recorded shots in a kids tournament to the kids.

it could be short courses and maybe just gimmes on green (no putting). I think this would be motivation and lots of fun for my son.

My kids are 12 and 13. I am open to suggestion. Since there probably aren't as many kids playing, maybe have much less frequent and longer tournaments. I certainly don't want them to steal all of my fun time Maybe we could just get everyone with kids who would be interested to post their kids age.

I am pretty sure I could sell my 9yo on this.

They should be 9 hole events too. Shorter attention span and all.

And probably no long shots over water.

I have a 14 yo and 12 yo who would play. My 14 yo would play on the TGC tour if we let him and we had the ability to have guest players.

9 and 13 y.o. kids would be all in. Agree on 9 holes and shorter lengths if possible.

I think this is a great idea even though i don't have any kids. I'd think it should be 18 holes but you can make that two courses or split it into to days. Their masters could have been the par 3 course.

Did anything ever come if this? Seemed like there would have been enough kids in the 8-12 range. My daughter would love to do this.

How about we try one on my course designed for kids? We'll leave it open longer. The course is called The Meadows. We'll try 9 holes

The bigger issue is user profiles. I suggest kids just use the dads profile. I'm not sure there's another way.

My 7 year old would be ecstatic if he could play in a tournament like daddy. That way he doesn't have to sit there and play caddie for me...I can play caddie for him. No issues for me if he plays under my profile.

mthunt Is there a tournament open for this? Is this a 1 or 2 round tourney? I will see if my kid wants to play.

Bigger question, if he plays under my ID and this is a tournament, will this affect my tour hdcp or will it somehow be ignored?
