I just finished my two rounds. My data shows two consecutive shots from 12 yards ...... I did not rewind....I just am that bad at times that the ball rolled right back to where I started.... just couldn't get up over that 10 foot hill.

Finding things much better with slower greens and the straight putting.
Played ghost balls of keither wiggs and wbond. I can keep up off the tee with wiggs and wbond; sometimes beyond but MAN keither you roast the driver. Ball must be hurting when you catch one! I got a couple out there 270 but was miles off you mostly.

I recently bought an Epic driver and I really like it. I can draw and fade with the Epic better than my old driver. I have been really trying to get my swing to a consistent 160-165 mph ball speed. If I swing faster, the extra yardage isn't worth the muscle and joint pain the next day. I played a round IRL on Friday. I averaged about 280-290 with the driver. I had a few over 300 but not much over. I just turned 50 last month and am turning over a new leaf....... trying to swing at 80% speed with all clubs with the hope that I won't feel so beat up after a couple rounds.

Wbond - I suppose it depends who you compare against but I wouldnt have said your a short hitter. I'm not long but above average when I Clip one with 150ish ball speed.
The epic is an interesting driver; I don't think I can do much with my spin and launch but would snap up somethinf giving a little extra ball speed!
There were one or two lines you took keither which were defo a result of some practise rounds! " can I cut this corner".....

Am I wrong here? It appears everyone's scores are wrong??? Looks as if gross scores are based off a par 71 instead of par 72.

Youre right. Not sure why. When you create a shorter course TGC makes some par 5's par 4 but it shows Par 72. Strange.Originally posted by GarySatterwhite View PostAm I wrong here? It appears everyone's scores are wrong??? Looks as if gross scores are based off a par 71 instead of par 72.

Second tournament is a month I had to skip. I injured my wrist. Of course I played 3 rounds IRL. I just could not muster up the power to make it here. I tried to play 9 practice holes and could not do any more. I may have to rest a few weeks. Hopefully not.

Gene, I just picked up voicebot. Is there any way you could export your TGC profile to their server so I can download it?Originally posted by gene438 View PostI have a love/hate relationship with the voice control software. I have tried Tazti, Voice Attack, and VoiceBot. At this time I believe VoiceBot is the best in terms of performance and user friendliness.
In my opinion, the only way to have a near perfect experience is if you wear a microphone on your lapel or a headset. Both are not great when swinging a club. Right now I have installed a microphone right above the golfer's head. This just happens to be where my projector is at so I was able to run the wire and hide the microphone pretty nicely. I am pretty happy with this setup as I still have to repeat words from time to time but moving the mic really helped. Also, picking the right trigger words is crucial.
Anyway, I love playing when I don't have to keep going back to PC or iPad.
