7222 yards. Holy smokes. Better dust these hybrids off.

Yeah, I think this is going to put an end to the low scoring for this week.

I love this course in real life and the sim version is pretty good...but no thanks for 7,000 plus yards. Not complaining - have no issues with majors being longer - just afraid at this distance I might develop a bad habit...and cannot afford to have any more...hehehe...good luck everyone. should be a good match on Sunday.

Come over to the dark side penrose and swing for the fences!!! Lol, gotta respect the discipline. I played the course today and for the most part the yardage is spread out well. However, there are about 5 BIG holes.

Man... 7200 yards at sea level too. I really need to move into a space were I can swing longer clubs than a 3 iron, 220-230 off the tee is not going to work here like it did on the 6500 yard tracks. Won the last two tournaments as my handicap has been dropping rapidly on here after a long absence from simulator play.

I might sit this one out, but I love the 3 round tournaments and really want to try this course. Guess there is no harm in trying.

Had an oddity on the first hole. As soon as I got close to the green the distance disappeared :/. I had a few putts come short and a few rim out. I thought the length of the course would be brutal but it wasn't all bad

I'm dying to play more, but we finally got some sun in Oregon, and I've got a ton of work to catch up on outside. Hopefully I get some time later in the week.

Played a practice round last night - I'm not a long hitter by any means, still a relative noob to the golf world and the golf swing. Definitely challenging, looks to be 2 - 3 shorter par 4's that can make up for a little of the length. Lot's of hybrids and 3 woods....

This course beat me up, not even the length that bothered me, the greens are miserable. Especially for someone like myself that doesn't putt very well in SIM golf. I stand by my opinion that the putting takes a lot of enjoyment out of these tournaments, but they're still fun none the less.
I pretty much gave up halfway through my third round, putting frustration got the best of me.

Wow. The suck factor was high with me this round. Oh well.... Still gonna hack it up regardless! Lol!

This track makes me want to take up bowling.... Hole 15 and 17 are death to the average hack! Lol.

I used my first rewind in a tournament tonight. On shot #24 of my third round I hit a 3 wood for my tee shot and it read as only having 268 rpm backspin. I didn't hit it great but there is no way that it only went 50 yards. Normally I would not bother with a rewind but I was playing really well this week, especially on a 7200 yard course for a guy who doesn't hit driver. I thought the hardest part was that every pin seemed to be on a severe slope, much different than last week. I made a few putts but had a four putt and several three putts which was frustrating. It sucks when you hit an approach to 15 feet and your only thought is make sure I get this within the 6 foot gimme range! I also shanked a wedge into the water in my second round which was terrible. Overall though, I liked the course. I just wish it were either under 7000 yards or flatter areas around the pins.

Couldn't agree more about the greens andy. The length is tough, my golf game is suspect, but those greens are unbearable. I'm taking the rest of the week off just to recuperate.
