Has something changed in the last two weeks with the greens and approach shots? Last week was a full club difference in terms of what club to hit because everything was just running out ridiculous amounts. Last week was after all the "U.S. Open" so I just chalked it up to that.

But this week is the same thing, at least for me. Nothing was checking up. If you hit the green there was no chance of the ball stopping. Didn't matter if it was a wedge or a 5 iron.

I will say I'm actually sending my Skytrak in for a possible calibration error (at the recommendation of sky golf) so maybe it's just my system. But even though I've always had some issues with it the last two weeks have been much different.

Anyway not that it should matter based on my crappy scores, but I did have a handful of rewinds because of some readings that were just so wildly inaccurate that it was absurd.

I'll be curious to see how everyone else's experience is with this course.

I've noticed too. I was thinking of sitting this one out because of the totally non realistic bounce and roll out on the greens. Three rounds of that was enough for me.
My "device" is SkyTrak and I've changed nothing.

I thought it was just the course because others mentioned it last week, but the run out was purely ridiculous. I had some courses in the q school from two seasons ago that did this as well. I'll have to check this out this week.

I'm in the same boat. Can't hold a green again this week. ProTee United did you ever get a chance to figure out if our settings file is getting overridden by these two courses or what the heck is going on?

Just played my first round I agree with the others. It's verging on unplayable. Long irons there's no shot to hold a green and wedges and chips run out way more than they should.
Does this seem to be a Skytrak issue? Maybe from the last update a couple weeks ago?

I would also agree with these posts.... no question there is now excessive rollout.

If someone can record a video showing a shot and the post shot analysis screen when this happens, we can try to reproduce it and try to find out what could be causing it.

I usually play a couple of practice rounds on my Xbox One before playing in the sim. For me, the courses play the same. If the ball bites and stops on the Xbox, I get the same results in Sim play. If there's no bite/stopping or spinning back on Xbox, then none in the Sim as well.

i guess the point I'm trying to make is I don't think it's a SkyTrak thing. I think it's a Cours design thing.

I thought the sim version greens settings were supposed to override the course design settings for greens. Is this accurate?

I created two simple 2 hole courses today. One has green speed and firmness settings maxed out, and the other has them minimized as much as possible. Flat greens on both. If anyone would like to do a test to see if both courses react the same, feel free to do so. "BEK Fast Firm" and "BEK Slow Soft" Figured with the growing speculation lately that greens are playing firmer and faster, we should test it out.

Nice scoring Ironstrokes. Very tough track with the green firmness. Luckily I spent the weekend trying to stop 4 irons on a Walmart parking lot. Got me ready. 😂
