Nice scoring Ironstrokes. Very tough track with the green firmness. Luckily I spent the weekend trying to stop 4 irons on a Walmart parking lot. Got me ready. 😂

Thanks, nice first round by you as well. Definitely agree with most as it was tough to hold some of the greens, think a bunch were sloping from front to back though and thats probably most of the reason. Was chipping decently though. Should have been a few shots better but hit a water ball on the last par 3

Yeah I would agree there seems to be a lot of roll on the greens. I think many of us have noticed this from time to time. I don't remember what my settings file is set to, but I'll take a look before my second round. In any case it just makes me choose clubs differently and potentially approach chip shots differently, which isn't a bad thing. It can be frustrating when you hit a 140 yard approach shot right onto the green and it rolls for 80 ft and off the green. Very few times I would see that in real life.

Otherwise I enjoyed the course!

I agree with others, greens seem a bit hard on this one. I played another course last night and was like "WHOA" the greens are so much softer on this one. I'm starting to think our settings aren't a 100% override. Maybe the override switch is broken???

Ugh. Not sure what's going on but my swing fell apart about half way through my round.

I took a rewind. I hit my driver, it hit the left side of my impact screen for a slight push but in the game the ball did a hard pull.

Also, I started noticing the ball runouts on the green. Two times stand out. Once I landed a ball 5 yards in front of the green, it rolled out 10 yards past the green. I hit an attack wedge from about 112 out, so it had loft on it. Another time I hit a lob shot out of a bunker. I got it up so quick that it hit the ceiling in my garage instead of hitting the blackout panel like it usually does. It about came straight down, bounced once in place (at least it looked like it) then rolled out 30 feet. I thought maybe I hit into a down slope, but my putt coming back to the green was downhill.

The greens don't seem any firmer but there are some crazy slopes front to back making it seem so IMO. Gotta love the bunkers in every fairway at 270.

Thanks Gene. Lol, did feel kinda cheesy hitting only a handful of greens and still winning. Awful greens and pin placements. We need to get the designer in contact with RSuslow and teach him how to construct playable greens.

Bunkers left and right on most holes at 270. 3 wood central with mid irons for approsch. Pins tucked behind bunkers or at front of greens. Greens rolling out like crazy. Not as fun as it has been. Played very tough with some pins impossible.

Hopefully get back to normal approaches soon
