On the real course between 17 and 18 there is elevator to get to the 18 tee box. This was installed when it went from a par 4 to a par 3

That was cool to see, don't remember ever hearing of anything like that anywhere else other than that one hole in Africa's that you have to take a helicopter to the tee

Was it a misread or just a bad shot hit by you?

I doubt Andy would rewind just a bad shot right?

As I wrote a "wrong shot" not a bad shot. Yes it was a misread...flushed it but the machine didn't read it or so I thought. My gc2 kept flashing red. I had to reset the gc2 and when I reconnected it that is when the shot went....and it said I had some ridiculous numbers and it went 91 yards. So I rewind it and put it in the lake. If I just played the damn misread I'd have saved myself a stroke because the misread didn't make it to the water.

Nice course, greens seem to be back to normal.

I started off well. Only a few hiccups. Then towards the end of the back nine I fell apart. Sad. I had such a good round going.

I tried playing first tournament, started rough. Coming in strong, -2 hitting second shot in 18. Tgc froze up trying to hit sand wedge. Finally got shot to register than it froze up on my 20ft put. I got frustrated and restarted TGC thinking it would save game and pick up where I started. Instead it restarted me all the way back on hole #12. I gave up for the night.

I could be wrong, but this sounds more like a bad internet connection - the game should be writing to the servers at TGC after every shot (at least this is what I think). I would make sure you are not dropping packets to their servers. Protee can help you with this...they helped me a lot.

There's a reason for this. ProTee explained it here once. If I'm not mistaken it's an Internet issue.

this happened to me as well. froze up on 15. the first sign of trouble was a big delay in registering a shot. eventually i just quit tgc and i end up back on 13.

Just got finished my last 17 holes for round 2 and only had a little discomfort in my back with hopefully means its almost healed. I could of scored a little better and the OB on 8 didn't help (don't fart at the top of your backswing as its very distracting).

LOL When timed correctly a good pressure release can significantly increase club head speed.

Nice tournament though. Right there in the hunt.

Do you bail out after the fart and regroup or just swing for the fences bc a monster drive with a fart would be just amazing. tough choice...

Once I'd stop laughing and swearing I managed to compose myself and stuck the next shot to about 9 ft and then annoyingly missed the putt for double which led to abut more swearing.

Played my second round. Much better than the first. I had just got home from a lesson so that helped.

I had a few tough moments, especially when I kept shanking my sand wedges into the green. If those didn't happen on two or three holes, it could have been so much better.

Now that made me laugh here for sure. Quite the mental picture there hahahaha

I had a good round - for me anyway. it was good to play a tour event again - only my 2nd one this year. Funny, I took a look at my history and the quicken was the very first tour event I ever played in - guess my simulator/golf studio is about 1 year old now. My handicap back then was a 27, now it is 16.
I know we all debate on what hardware is the best and which software is the best - but I have to say we are all very lucky to have such great systems, no matter if skytrak or trackman, etc or which software - this is all great fun.
