RULES AND GUIDELINES



Purpose
To offer an online league format that facilitates all that we enjoy about playing the Sport of Golf. To make Tournament settings on each round that compare to PGA standards.

Integrity
Golf is a sport of honesty, all players are expected not to treat this like a game but treat it as if you were actually participating in live Events. Please do not cheat or manipulate the Game to give yourself and advantage. We encourage play with other online players but one can play by themselves or with a ghost ball. Scores get automatically added via TGC API so no need to enter scores. Mulligans are allowed only if there is a miss read or hardware/game error. Multiple simulator platforms will be in play.

Just finished my first two rounds of my first tournament (CIMB Classic). My question is around my handicap and why it shows as 0 online when it shows different in TGC? I've only played 7-10 rounds total through TGC but enough to establish a handicap within the game. How does this translate into the standings? Thanks.

The handicap that TGC shows is usually not very accurate. The course and slope ratings can be affected by console players who shoot ridiculously low scores. You need to play Q School or tournament rounds to establish a tournament handicap. I think you need at least 5 rounds in Q school or tournaments before it gets calculated. Until that point you will have a 0 handicap so your gross and net scores will be the same.

Now, I see two of me on the player list, flag and handicap is not updated.
Does it take sometime to update it?

Mthunt is right. Updates on tuesday. Check your tour profile. It updated today showing a calculation for 4 rounds. You need to play one more round.

@Protee_united Is there a delay on the results from the WGC HSBC tournament from being added to our played tournaments in the player summary and used in this weeks handicap calculation?

I just played a tourney for the first time last week and I cant believe how fun it was! It was so cool to see other players shots who are on the same hole as you. Based on some of them I really need to work on my putting haha. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few Q School rounds in this week so I can establish a handicap for the upcoming events.
