So does everyone play with 5% driver boost? I’m new to the tour, feel like a chump if I am sacrificing 14-15 yards. Is there any way for pro tee to tell based on the shot recording data?

I would assume most do the 5% on driver but irons is a lot more volatile. I do 2-3% for irons and I think 0 for wedges. The thing most are after is getting their irons numbers lined up to IRL. When I first started I think I had the typical indoor swing phenomenon so I had everything juiced to 5% to get close to my IRL yardages but as I played longer I started over shooting my IRL number so I dialed them back to 2-3%. To answer your question, YES, they can and do tell if you are juicing more than 5%. MTHUNT will shove a golf club where the sun don’t shine if he catches you so you e been warned. 😀

In the end, the whole Tour is on an honor system and rightfully so. Basic rule is just don’t be a tool and cheat to win a free trophy. No one has problem with boosting up to 5% so feel free to do so and most importantly, Welcome to the league. It’s growing crazy fast and you’ll have a good time.

He is legit!
He hits 350yds drive because he has ball speed of 180!!!
You can't have that with boast.

Yeah the rewinds need to go along with any boost in the tournaments. I've probably played like 70 tournaments between a few different software's and maybe had 1 shot that something went wonky on between my skytrak and now GC2.
And boosting is ridiculous unless for some reason you can't use real balls or a driver indoors. Your launch monitor doesn't make up numbers, that's what you hit the ball.

no idea, don't have it. So how did he get two 57's, were there rewinds in his data that someone saw, I was looking for it but couldn't find any multiple shots?

Yeah, I can see how that looks jacked but I can say.....I’ve never seen scoring that low. I could boost 30% and not see a 57. 😀

When is the "hit a FAIRWAy" boost coming cause that's what I need. An extra 10 yards OB does nothing for this guy

I dont use boost , I am not long but I hit it far enough. Any extra yardage would certainly make the courses more enjoyable and playable for a short hitter. My biggest problem is the indoor swing effect with the driver. Ever since I hit my projector with my follow thru , I have had trouble hitting the driver. Mostly using 3wood now.

I finally got my driver swing back. Hit a lot of fairways in my two rounds and they could have been even better. Left at least 5 puts inches short in the first round and at least 3 in the 2ND round. Still, this was round 3 and 4 in the 70s ever I believe. So I'm really happy with it. As to all the other discussions here. I have no boost at all, never had. I had one or two rewinds last year in spring I believe because they where ghost shots. Never had a rewind because of a "misread". I'm not good enough of a golfer to know if it was a misread or if I just hit it that bad lol. Oh and I burned the edge of the hole with a 220 yard 4 iron. I really thought it was going in when it was rolling towards the hole

I boost my driver only. Gets me to IRL distances. Irons seem pretty on for distance.

as to rewind. Had a REALLY weird day yesterday. Couple of full on crushed drives registered as only going a couple yards and had two putts carry 125 yards. Sounds like 4 rewind are ok to me.

Anyone can tell if there's boost or rewinds. For rewinds you just look for the same rewind twice. You can tell boost by how far the second shot is based off the drive. Drive carries 250 on a 420 hole and second shot is 90 yards then there was boost. You can also tell gimmies by the length of putts and by playing with ghost.

The SkyTrak guys were getting crazy putting readings like 7 degrees off so PorTee developed a patch that will only take ball speed into account. This means you cannot push or pull a putt at all. It's the number one reason scores are so low.

Tkotts is a really good player. It may seem strange that his last event is 2 57's but he's never been suspected of cheating before. I looked at the shots. Seems legit. He no longer has TGC I guess..

If all is good, why does it show him at a -36 hdcp on main page? Was shot recording off? He’s not listed on tourney thread. Just curious, He’s always usually played really well, assumed he was a really good player.

I’m not sure. Strange things have been happening. His shots were recorded. Normal boost and no rewinds.

Tkotts is a really good player who cheated period . We all know that in spite of all of our advances in technology, some people get their kicks out of beating it. It is a shame that a game for our enjoyment has been victimized. It is a shame now efforts will be required to protect the integrity of the game, time which could be better spent on further improvements.
