OK, broke all my own records today. Firstly, my last round was +31, so this is a 35 shot turn around, how is that? A much easier course naturally, but good to score well on it still. First sub 70, lowest score, lowest to par, lowest 9, most birdies, most birdie putts made. Gained a lot of confidence this week playing a real course in a couple of practice runs, hope to keep some form for my first handicap card there this weekend.

Damn it, was doing good through 13 then went 6 over last 5 holes. Fatigue got the best of me down the stretch. Nice course though.

Same here lol 4 over after 13 and then two tee shots on 14 that landed short of the green to roll back in the water. 8 on a par 3. From 4 to 9 over in one hole lol. Could have been my best round ever.

Had the best rounds that I have played in ages, first time that I have had 2 rounds below 90. The clubs seem to be getting some better distance now and other than the slice, it was feeling really good. I was actually able to sink some putts and chips, didnt see them taking nasty right or left turns on the way to the hole !!! Only sacrificed one ball this tournament to Aquaman !!! Just had to laugh as I went through the course seeing the ghost players always about 40-60 yards ahead of me. Gotta work on some distance !!!

First ever par round (real or sim)! Pretty excited about the way everything was working today. Night and day compared to last weeks fiasco. I'm so excited to get back outside to see how things are working in a real track after the winter of improvement!

Had a rewind at 30:50 mark, its stuff like this that makes me hope we dont have an outright ban on rewinds in this league. (and I was just kidding with my remark on the video mthunt!).

how is steam running the game? - is it the golf club 2 or 1? can you use the TGC interface with the newer game? I got the game by itself and just run it with the TGC interface...

Its the TGC1 sim version. You can add any application to steam via the "Add a Non-Steam Game to my Library" menu option.

You set these values (changing the user directory to whatever it is on your PC):

Start In
C:\Users\Jeff\AppData\Local\Skytrak Interface\

This will allow you to launch the TGC interface via steam, and will allow you to stream TGC to another PC. My gaming rig is in the house, and so I run TGC on it, and stream it to my laptop in the garage.

right on. I have my main gaming rig in my utility room (basement) wired out to the garage so i dont need to stream anything since i have hardwire. Good on the settings though... I am trying to crank more FPS out and will tweak with it tonight.

I've been doing this a lot too, and your post prompted me to google why it happens. Apparently a big cause is when the body stops pivoting and the hands try to finish the swing. I would agree this could be my cause, sometimes I get "lazy" with the body, but I think the reason for the laziness is often stiffness or body pain. I think my back says "OK I'm done here, hands you take over", and I either gets a big slice or a big pull.

Is there a keyboard shortcut to enable auto rewind??

I'm in the middle of round two on the 12th hole and I hit a crappy iron shot..got out my club to hit again and didn't realize it rewound. I hit another shot and then I notice the shot rewound itself. I hit a 3rd shot before it dawned on me to check auto-rewind.

I didn't go to the escape menu to turn on auto rewind so I must have hit a key that enabled it..that is my best guess? Anyway, that means I just rewound 3 shots.. so you can let it go or just DQ my round either is fine with me.

"R" is auto-rewind.

Ahh OK that makes sense. I hit the 4 key to move to my 4 iron and must have hit R instead.

Is there a way to remap/disable keys like auto rewind? There is about a 0% chance I'd ever want to enable that intentionally.

mthunt on the first round SkyTrak went red on me on the 7th hole. That was on 26 minutes 12 seconds in recording below. I was on 7th hole and +2. Had to go out and back into TGC and reset SkyTrak. I was put back on 5th hole and had to redo 5th and 6th hole. Made the same score though so when I was back on 7th I was again on +2. So no advantage or disadvantage but this might look shady on the shot recording. Proof is below.

Darn that concede hole button! Add that to ProTee United 's list of things they should just fix for us in TGC1 while we wait for TGC 20XX.

Just finished 1st round with a 69 and went to exit and mouse clicked that concede hole button....

How do we handle that?
