Wow..... I should have not played that event. 25 over on the first round. lost a few in the water.....I played 4 or 5 practice holes before starting the tour round. I was about 1 over, so I thought.... this will be easy. After the first round, I found myself taking a little more time with the putting and chips. My second round started strong but then ended up on the bogey train. My 3rd round had a good start which included a hole in one on #8. Follow that up with 5 pars and then back on the bogey train. I had a hard time with distance control..... Oh well back to the range.

Congrats on the hole in one! Those are the ones that keep you coming back despite the rest of the day not going your way

Thanks Andy, I would buy drinks if anyone was around. That is my 3rd Ace since 2015. IRL I have come close but am still waiting for my first. Be careful if you finish a putting course...…. it will give you a bunch of Aces on your stats.

When you choose a ghost you see the score first so you know what round it is (assuming the score is different). If you look at recorded shots, a ghost and a scorecard you can tell what is going on. It’s like looking at the matrix for me. I can almost see the ball flight now.Originally posted by simmb View Post
Always wondered about this, how are ghost rounds shown when rewinds are taken? I quite often have a cheeky normal round before I start a tournament especially on courses I have never played, I do rewind quite a bit. What would other players see, the last shot I played? Also would my non tournament practice rounds been shown in tournaments as a ghost? My Courses:

. Could they not add the actual shot number on each hole to the recorded shots page? Would be easy then to do a select count on the database where shot, hole and distance to pin are all equal and greater than 1. You then got your rewinds for the week.
It's been said before but the work you do on the tour is very much appreciated.

The shot number is shown in the recorded shots but not the hole. I have two screens so I have the score card open on one. I also have a report that shows all rewinds for the week. By looking at the scorecard you can deduce the hole. Sometimes what looks like a rewind is actually stroke and distance so you look at the scorecard. 6 recorded shots and a par on a hole is an issue. The strange thing is most of the people consistently at the top of the gross board are never on the report unless they dunk one in the water.

I think I mean the stroke number then :-) I know it has a sequential running shot number but if it had the actual stroke number it would make it easier to see. So you would see two entries in recorded shots with same distance to pin, first entry being stroke 1 and second being stroke 3, you then know without having to check the scorecard that someone has not rewound and hit it OB or dunked it in the water.
