Each player must set the wind to OFF and gimmies to 2 yards in the settings/game play screen.

Please see appropriate threads on how to get TGC setup for online play. Practice rounds online with another player is encouraged.

Penalties:
Rough and fairway sand are about 1 club. Heavy rough is about 2 clubs. Green side bunkers are about 50%. Ignore all displayed lie penalties in the game.

GSX penalty settings:
Set all penalties sliders to default of zero.

ProTee Interface penalty settings:
Set green bunker to 40 and all other penalties to zero.

Zmax. If it is possible can you post step by step on how to re-sync with a person. In my match tonight my partner lost internet connection. So it took a bunch of trial and error to get us synced up again.

My chipping was fine with all settings to 0. The bunkers for me are the mystery. I'd like to know from Dennis or HB how they work because it's not 50%. We were in alot of bunkers and there's no consistent pattern to how the bunker shots come out. I hit some more than double the distance that didn't make it and some others only 50% that went too far. Elevation shouldn't affect these shots IMO, only launch angle if its a deep bunker. Also, where do the greenside bunkers end and the fairway bunkers begin? In Protee it was 30 yards, here I had a 35 yarder today that I played like fairway bunker but it ended up being greenside bunker. I heard some people say 40 yards and some others say 50yards. We need to check that out.

Normal chip and runs work well and when we caught them too clean they stopped. Cartrydge can comment further on his shots if he likes.

Yea chips seemed ok for the most part rolled out more than they did before seemed like could be the greens though on this course. I'm with Hoganwoods on the bunkers though there is no exact to it. If we hit them 50% harder like stated sometimes they would go way to far and other times they would land short. We can see the carry numbers on the Gc2 soon as we hit so we know how far they carry but, doesn't work perfect in TGC. I think 50% pentalty is way to harsh anyways for a greenside bunker. No way I hit that hard of shots from 10 yards in a bunker outside. Maybe 75% or even closer to 100% to make it more real.

100% or no penalty will not make it real. Can somebody test green side bunkers on a different course and see if it's acting the same way?

no not mulligans, that I know how to do. It is like when you an I were playing and you lost the program. When you re-enter it takes forever for us to be synced so we can see each other's shots. Well last night Frank lost internet connection. So when I went to the 8th tee and waited for him. He found me in the live list but I did not see him. So I removed him and added him and then he was on the 7th tee again. So we removed each other three more times. Than I added him and started to play. He could not see me for a copuple of holes. I would see his old shots though and it was weird. He commented on a bunker shot that he made and I did not see it for probably 10 minutes later. I was wondering if you had a step by step on how to fix that issue. Since it is bound to happen more in the future with internet etc.
