I just played a practice round against the cpu and he spanked me. I shot a +4 with my handicap. Darn island hole. Put 2 in the water. But thankfully it was only a practice round. I am looking to play round 1 on thursday evening.

I did notice that the sliders seemed to be impacted with the latest update. They had little to no effect till you got to around 25 I think. Try adjusting them and you will see.

Are you refering to the GSX update? If so, it seems that all settings at 0 are close to what the GC2 readout says but backspin is way low, so in order to add backspin you also need to boost the carry. All were good but the driver which is messed up yet with the Protee and GSX.

I am wondering if we need to all use the same course when we set up our files so that we compare the same and not have the course change things.

Just use the driving range. I never use the courses to make adjustments.

Have you had a chance to use the GC2 and test settings?
How do you find putting etc? Driver?

I'd like to thank Bubba22 for being patient today during our round- first time i ever got mis reads of this nature- set it up in the early after noon and it was quite bright out-- had to go back a couple times and tweak cams-as the sun went down, anyway- tried to play as quick as possible but had to take some mullies due to worm burners.. specially from the sw. and a couple of really bad reads that sent the ball dead right-- ugh.
(another thing i noticed- during the offline practice rounds- I swear the rough had no effect then we started playing and damn if it wasnt in full effect) very odd. early on my short chips were not going near as far as when I was during my practice rounds.
