I appreciate the response and agree with most of what you said. Thing is, that's the same for everyone. Everyone's game is better in those departments, for the most part. Not everyone goes out and fires 63s and 65s. Lets look at this last event for instance:

    36 holes - 14 birdies, 1 double, 1 bogey, the rest pars.

Now what you said makes sense but you are playing Tiger Woods golf sometimes. Now you shouldn't be penalized for good shots but maybe we should have Zmax go in your system with you and see if we can make it more realistic? Otherwise what's going to happen is he's going to set your handicap to -6 or lower and you will have to start firing even better numbers and its just going to look ridiculous.

Given that the most unrealistic experience is really putting and chipping, not sure there is much to change. I wouldn't want to change my longer shots to be unrealistic to just effectively randomly reduce the outcome. Again, long game isn't that much better than a lot of guys. I've played with Tom a lot this year and his long game is better than mine - hits more fairways. When I beat him it's due to chipping and putting.

Last night was odd on how close I got on 50-80 yard shots, but that wasn't the norm. Was just hitting everythign dead straight and clean and had perfect tempo for each shot distance and ended up with numerous gimme approach shots.

On putting, earlier in the season I did have the putting setting too forgiving, kind of. Not sure why it was set like that but essentially any putt within 2 degrees offline would read as straight. But a putt 2.1 degrees offline would read as being 4 degrees offline. Z helped me fix that. However, on average that was neutral or

Another way of thinking about it - for me, the long / approach game is real golf (other than the rough issue). The chipping and putting is a video game and you can perfect it like a video game if you treat it like a video game (which I more or less have treated it that way - a data driven mechanical approach).

I always like to know what everyone's real life HC or Factor is to compare. If Mike were a 10 HC then I would also wonder how he is playing so well, but with a 4 HC or lower, and not playing an easy course for a home course, I can now see why he plays so well.

Also a lot of these Red Chain courses don't have any heavy rough penalty (not that a 4 HC should be in heavy rought) but just saying then there is no penalty at all. We all should be playing under our real HC or Factor, once you have played a while and start to be able to read the greens. That is the big key, just like real golf. You score well when you putt well.

Just decided to put my Factor in my info so others would see it and watch to see if it lowers over the summer. I did not use HC as that would change from course to course, where the Factor would be the same every where.

I would like to play also if you guys can wait til 7 CST to start. It appears that setting up a match with JHP is not going to happen. Time zone troubles. And we can be done before he could start anyway. I have to take my son to church at 630 then run out play golf then pick him up at 9. will that work for you guys?

Hoping to play earlier. Probably quicker if only 2 play given your time restrictions. If Bubs can't play then I should b good.

I was hoping to play at 7:00 EST tonight if possible. Bubba is that ok? I will be in teamspeak at 7, for anyone that can join.

I need to change some setting. I want to play in full screen. Windowed mode distracts me. Is there a way to change it to full screen? I do want to stream. Especially this round we both played well.

Yes, you can. I've switch to full screen mode myself. You need to setup game mode in OBS. I can remote in and do it for you if you like.

Nice to see people shooting low scores but this is getting ridiculous. I officially withdraw from this league. Too many statistical anomalies.
