All was for the best in the best of all world... then came the sixth hole !...
And I discovered how consistent I can be, doing the same error on the same shot and throwing 10 M golf balls in the water
      Same on 18th.
      Anyway, great course !

I was wondering what happened there! Tough break - you’ll get em next time.

I recall John Daly carding an 18 on Bay Hill #6 many years back.

However, I fell 2y-short of the green on my 2nd shot...
John Daly must have over drove the green ?
        ;-))

When you’re struggling with an indoor early release snap hook with the driver, what do you do? Don’t hit driver ;-) Hit one driver all round, couple poor 3-woods, and the rest (not par 3s) were hybrids.

Bring on spring, my driver needs rehabilitation.

I just keep hitting driver and aiming farther right. Not a very good plan though!

Could be worse. I pull/pull hook all my clubs at the minute

Chip Pope would never get a 9! That guy is dialed in!

Jumped straight in to the deep end. One get to know skytrak round at Augusta, Q-school 2 rounds and straight on to the tour. Don't have a handicap yet and still very much figuring out how all this works.

So... 1 Round down. The highlight being the par 4 where I was 161 yards further from the hole after my 285 yard drive than on I was on the tee. Not quite used to how aiming works yet... LOL

This is going to be fun.

Every round you learn something. On the 2nd round I learned that after 12 shots your caddie will drag you to the next hole.

Haha, and my caddie is getting tired of dragging me around

Sadly I learned that a long time ago! Lol

              Actually I don't think it's a fixed number like 12. Think it's +7 or something like that.

I got a new mat this week, Fiberbuilt. It's really nice. My results are about what you'd expect when playing with a brand new mat that behaves quite differently than your old one.

Firsr round played . Hopefully 2nd one will be better 🙂
