Due to a technical issues we were not able to retrieve your 2 individual score cards. We only have to total score for the 2 rounds you played, so we divide the score over the 2 rounds (#@&*%^$ computers ;-)). It has no effect on your score or leaderboard, so nothing to worry about.

      Here is an example:
      Total score +16 over 2 rounds = 142 + 16 = 158 / 2 = 79 for each round.

I tried to find this tournament this morning and couldn't find it. (I looked around 1300 CET)
    Is it definitely published?

Check: PLAY TOUR -> ALL TOURS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

Normally you go to PLAY TOURNAMENT, but because you play 2 different tracks its categorized under TOURS.

I just got TGC yesterday and using a GC2. Is it possible to join in mid season? Do I just look for this under tournaments in TGC?

So what happens if the skytrak guys play in the tournament without a handicap from Q School? Do they play as scratch?

We calculate a new handicap based on just the 2 rounds and adjust the next rounds if needed.

Worst round this year so far. I spent more time in the water than the fairway. hopefully round 2 will be good!

In that case, I pray you get my ghost on the 2nd round too which I competed this afternoon.
              [SPOILER ALERT - Water on 3, 6, 8, 9 & 11]
I even have the full 18 holes on video which I will post shortly for anyone that wants to feel good about their golf game!

@ V8burble......... Did you know...... if you save a replay of the course, you can watch the whole round without the grid or the setup and zooming of the camera. I will post a how to video under my YouTube channel, Keither5150 soon.

I'll keep an eye out for that as I'd like to play around with some videos of the simulator - thanks.
Did record 36 holes on PG with screen capture and swing video a couple of days ago, was 7 over after 6 struggling till 10th hole when I put some 70s rock(Toto) on and birdied 6 of the next 9 while rocking out! Not bad for a 24 handicapper. Sadly YouTube muted the audio due to copyright so wasn't worth keeping the video up!

I will second the water issues. Fortunately I am playing a practice round with all the same settings. I think I will be playing for position on this course rather than trying to just slam the ball around.

I agree, There are 4 or 5 holes that I shouldn't use the driver on. I also need to stop trying to reach 18 in two shots. If the wind is against me, it takes it out of play, but if you get a big drive with the wind, it is tempting. That green is too small and well protected to hit it in two. I also had a 10 on a par 4.

Just played a practice round. Wasn't playing great and it only got worse when I pulled a tin cup on 16. Learned that 11 is the worst you can take on a hole. Also, pretty sure #10 is carded wrong. It shows up as a 510 yd par 4. I'll try the tournament rounds later in the week.

You can get a 12 on a par 5. After 7 over, John will tell you to pick up your ball and move to the next hole. On the plus side.... if you are 30 yards out when this happens, you will get credit for a 30 yard hole out.

Ha ha good to hear that I wasn't alone in my misery, wasn't hitting the ball well and the course ate my lunch... lol..

I just had my best round ever. on sim and IRL. 9 over. I even put 3 in the water. For some reason on the drives it did not make me re-tee but allowed a drop. I usually get re-teed every time. How is that selected? On the one I used a 7 iron it made me re-tee. No out of bounds. Just water.

I had many good iron shots that saved me and I had 2 birdies. Another first for me. I am beginning to think that my game is improving. Of course my handicap will then be dropping. But I like how the sim is improving my ball striking.

Just when I think that I have that course figured out. Even and plus 3 on practice rounds. When it counts I shoot over 21 over.... I think. I must be no good under pressure. The only bright side is that I reached 18 in two..... I was prepared to pull a tin cup at this point if I missed. No eagle but a solid birdie.

I actually played against your ghost on your water round. Reminds me of that winter tournament where I was scoring 10's on that hard par 3. I swear I was so frustrated with my last round, I would have put 10 balls in the water on my second shot just like Tin cup. That course has more than a few small greens that are partial surrounded by water.... makes it difficult. It was a nice course though... I just didn't play well. Putts weren't dropping. Oh well, start practicing for the next tournament.

92000 courses.... but really only 1/2 of them are worth playing.... but seriously I think that I have only quit one or two rounds due to myself not liking the course. Take The PGA national, the Honda Classic. I would play that course again. I also enjoyed watching the pros on the same course..... that may have been a 2015 replay on the golf channel. Number 18 would be awesome to play in real life.

I'm hoping to play some this weekend. Mom in town and hopefully she can watch my 7mo old while I play a round. Tough with a young kid but that's why I got a sim, so I could play more often and TGC definitely helps. Loving the courses (and sometimes hating).
