  • Spring Tour!

With more folks joining the tour, I just wanted to see a show of hands as to who would be interested in competing in a Spring tour? Historically we would stop the tour after the Masters as that typically correlated with the start of outdoor golf for a lot of forum folks. Our tour numbers are much larger so if there is enough interest then we can setup a spring tour from April to June. Thoughts?

Yea frankly id prefer 3 or 4 rounds for each tournament if people were up for it but do get that many may not have time for that. I'm just used to being out in the garage every single night and sometimes playing 2+ rounds a night. I'm doing like keither said and playing some practice rounds of the course now just to get some more meaningful rounds in. Would be curious how many would be down for upping the rounds to 3 per tournament (4 for majors), not crucial though, 2 is still a pretty good median for all.

I would be up for 3 and 4 for majors.

Let's not make it a war of attrition. I think the current number of plays is fair.

There's a lot of us who can't find the time to participate even with the current set-up.

My advice to keep it 2 rounds for a normal tournament and 3 for majors. The majority of players do not have time to play 3 or more rounds. We found that 2 works really well for.

We can always run another tour in parallel for those who have the time and energy ... just let me know!

And no crazy courses for the majors! 😱

Hey KS-Man, personally I prefer the real courses over the fictional ones, and with so many great ones coming out, I don't think we'll have any shortage of courses to play.

I would be up for a parallel tour.
I am also one of those guys who don't know any better and play almost every night, usually equivalent to 2 rounds, sometimes more.
I have been having problems with sore arms, around the biceps and up to shoulders. Has anyone else had this problem?

Haha 100%. It's half the battle just trying to control the soreness day to day now....But not gonna slow me down. Id be in for a parallel tour as well if enough people are up for it

Only when I lift too heavy on arms day.

I would recommend not doing another tournament parallel. Then we will get a split and some playing in one and others playing the other tournament. We want as many people participating in the main tournament. So I don't like the idea of splitting them up.

How about you play your 2 rounds and for the die hards, they can play an extra round and those 3 rounds would be the second tour.
