I just finished round two on Monday at 7:48 CST. I hope I'm not too late. Had a big weekend of life and IRL golf, so came in to work early. Changed the stimp to 9, which is still fast, but seems more in line with what PG is doing, so that will be nice to get dialed in. Certainly playing more like real golf to me now and my scores reflected that even in round two with an 83. Just couldn't save par putts and couldn't get my wedges to be consistent. So while it was nice shooting in the 70s hopefully this more realistic play will continue to help me get better.

Really have my driver dialed in now. I still had a few misses and a couple of wood balls, but that's "real" and I'll take that. If I was in the fairway I was 250-270. Yesterday IRL I had some 280+ drives so I'm happy where that part of my game is. Of course that means something else decides to take a break and it looks like my irons and putter have cooled off :-(. Again just SO close to turning the corner.

I'm going to be a bachelor for this week, so looks like plenty of time to get some work in :-).

I was going to finish last night, but my computer decided to upgrade to Windows 10 which killed my TGC license. I could finish by midnight tonight if that's soon enough.

Was planning on playing out last night but got stuck away from home and didn't get back until now, saw it was still open so just rapid fired 2 rounds in an hour (in a hot garage too, drenched in sweat haha) because I gotta head to work now. Didn't really line up many putts at all, but played mediocre considering haha. So if you can still squeeze my scores in that would be great. If not, no biggy, wasn't fantastic playing anyway

The frontpage leaderboard is showing your name, so all is fine... The tour will lock itself when it has ended. You can see the time remaining on the tour page. If it allows you to tee off then you are ok. Just make sure the 2nd (or 3rd round on masters) is finished before the tour ends.

Had some issues this tournament and not sure what's up but all of my clubs are launching excessively high with a ton of backspin. This is causing all clubs to be a minimum of 30 yards short and I noticed my club/ball speeds are also off by quite a bit. Ball speed estimating 30-40mph off with driver and estimated swing speed off by 10-15 mph and this carries on throughout the bag.

I'm not swinging any differently and haven't changed anything with my sim setup other than installing projector on ceiling and doing the Skytrak and tgc updates.

Has anyone experienced this issue at all? Not sure if it is a setting issue,calibration,lighting,alignment or height of Skytrak in relation to hitting mat.

Any ideas?

I get some numbers for several clubs tomorrow but the odd one I remember with driver was launch 23 degrees with 7400 back spin and if I recall ball speed was around 113.

I am normal a low launcher with driver, always struggled with this. Usually see 9-12 degrees and spin is usually in the 2500-z3k range. Club and ball speed is usually in the 103-105 and 150-157 range.

Last tournament I everything was fine and was hitting 260-280 yard drives and this week I think my longest was 200 yards because of these off numbers.

The screwy thing that has me perplexed is it is across the entire bag. Normally hit my 9i around 145 yards and couldn't hit it further than 105 with a 37 degree launch and 9000 backspin. I think I saw of 10k spin a few times, just crazy! I'll try to get some more numbers tomorrow but this gives you a general picture of what I'm dealin with.

Any ideas?

Those are the kind of numbers I get with an 8 iron. Are you getting the same numbers on Skytrak range? It might be the settings in TGC.

I'm kind of thinking it has to do with either the firmware update to Skytrak or the tgc update. Not sure what settings in tgc could have gotten messed up though.

Numbers were off in the Skytrak range as well which makes me think it could be something with my setup or alignment/level or the Skytrak software.

Not sure if there is a way to reset unit or re calibrate but I wasn't having any of these problems over the last 3 weeks.

Really really strange, everything looks like a moon ball!

There is nothing in TGC that might cause this. Check the alignment/level. You can also try to reset your ST.
