Played practice rounds most of this week, and it was ugly. Especially the par 3 over water. Don't think I ever scored better than a 6 on it. Had no intention of playing my first round today but my practice round went well so I had at it. Glad I did! Shot one of my better scores! I even made par on the par three over water! I forget what hole it is. May wait until later this week to play my second round, but hopefully it will be just as good.

nice job. That's a great score. I hate the over the water holes. Always makes me put one in the drink

So I was playing my first round of this tournament and was suddenly disconnected. I think it was on 17. I had just hit a decent drive (about 255). When I reconnected the system immediately hit a drive on the same hole but this drive as 287 down the middle. I rewinded the shot and hit another 255ish drive. No harm done - but does anyone know how to his could happen or has anyone experienced this before?

I was disconnected tonight after a shot. It didn't register and light never came back on. First time it's ever happened in I don't know how many rounds I have played. I turned SkyTrak off and back on and nothing. Finally just exited out of the game completely and rebooted the game and continued competition. Didn't have any trouble the rest of the way. Weird deal.

Shot a hole out eagle on the 2nd hole. Very lucky!

Came back down to earth a bit in round two. But, overall not terrible. Putting and chipping is killing me. Can't seem to nail down the speeds as they seem inconsistent. Time to play the practice rounds for next week!

Played OK at the first round of the St. Jude classic but a few too many very bad holes to put up a very good score. I also struggled with the putter though I did hit a nice one on 18 which hopefully I can build on for Round 2.

Great first round - but encountered a very strange thing on the 2nd round.
Teed off on the 8th hole hit a great drive and instead of playing my 2nd shot I was taken back to the tee (for my first shot again, so no penalty).
Hit a great 2nd drive and back on the tee again (once again for my first shot).
Have given up for now but hopefully it'll pick up as normal when I complete the round at the weekend. Very odd, not seen this before.

You may have accidentally hit the "R" button on the keyboard. This will turn on autorewind....... Hopefully that is it.

                        Meh round 1. Shot a 79.

keither5150 and Bubba22, I took a rewind on hole #16 (at 46:15). Please watch the video below and let me know if I need to be accessed any penalty strokes or if I should be DQed.

Check out mental melt down 46:00 on #17, but made a miracle bogey.

Yeah that's way better than my machine. Not sure why the difference. Maybe I'll bust out a stopwatch and see if it's just my imagination.

I'm curious as to the result.

                          Bama:

Looks like you are getting only 20-30fps, which puts a major downer on your otherwise stellar setup!

What video card are you using? Nvidia is releasing the 1070 and 1080 soon, which would run this game very well. Or wait until those drop and pick up a 970 for even cheaper (its $300 today, probably will go lower once the 1070 is released).

I would turn off Vsync in the game, set object detail to 1 or otherwise turn down other settings. Anti-aliasing might give you another couple frames/sec if you turn it off. The other thing to check, if you have a multi-monitor setup, make sure TGC is not spanning multiple displays. I have that problem when I run it in windowed mode. My PC has 2 video cards (6 displays). If I run TGC in a window, and it spans displays even by 1 pixel, it will drop the FPS a ton. I typically run it full screen to avoid that issue.

Yea, definitely a legit rewind there. That's the occasional misread ive gotten with the short chip correction OFF. Doesn't happen much and can never pin point why but we can all tell you struck that decently on the video, so I personally don't see a problem with the rewind.

I think the issues lies more with using the wifi vs. usb than actual PC power here. Ive used the usb with 75ft extension cord all the way into the house where my computer is with a pretty consistent, decent delay. When using wifi though, the readings of the shots is more constant with much less misreads, but at times the wifi connection may have been disrupted or the signal not come through as well for a split second or so and change the delay time. I have had times where the delay would be great all night and then suddenly be like 12 seconds for one shot (that would eventually still read because using the wifi instead of the usb which just basically cancels the shot after a certain delay and puts the laser back on). I eventually ended up just moved my wifi extender to an outlet a little closer and that doesn't happen anymore, but there still may be some slight fluctuations on delay time here and there. So id be curious what type of connection you guys are both using more so and if that's the reason
