HOW TO PLAY
From the main menu select PLAY-> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

Looks like it gonna be a very nicely designed course.

Still a part of me feels like we should be playing the full length, or at least longer than 6400 yards (but im guessing the creator didnt make an in between one at 6800ish yards) for the majors. Over the time ive played on the tours so far it seems like once we hit the majors its then a bit of a party time to see who can shoot the most under par while many of the other courses we play on the tour are much much harder (like greenbrier last week). Havent played this one yet, so who knows, could be eating my words right now. But Id love to see the majors being the toughest courses we play all year on the tour. Not sure whos with me on this, but just some of my thoughts.

Good point on the recent ones being a little longer and do l like the mix in with the short ones at times, Guess I was just hoping for it to happen more the opposite way and the majors be the longer ones. But I do realize its more up to what versions of the courses are available by the creators. Hopefully more and more designers come out with protee versions of their course and we might be able to flip it and make it so more of the regular tournaments are a bit short and the majors long in the future. I think im a bit of a masochist and always love it when we see the impossible courses for the prso and watch them come down to our level (or at least it looks like it a tiny bit on a few shots haha) and that usually only happens on the majors for the most part. But like bama said......probably not so much the PGA championship haha

Played a few practice rounds on this tonight. Freaking love this course. So well designed. It helped that I played well haha.

I like the shortness of it as I'm not a long hitter, but I would have been okay with it at 6800. I'm sure it's tough to scout these courses for tournament play understanding not everyone will be happy with it. So I appreciate the work done. Hopefully it'll get easier now that some of the designers are getting a better understanding of what the simulator users need.

Can't wait to get in my rounds. I love that there are three rounds on a course I really enjoy playing. I hope to record my rounds and have it up for all to see.

Sweet! Ill be watching, love seeing more and more guys from the forums posting rounds, fun seeing the different swings and seeing the faces/hearing the voices to put it with the username. Good luck and hope you play well this week

Also, a lot of people were forgetting to put wind on before their rounds and ended up with some people playing with wind and some not.

On that note, I thought with the update that protee or whomever sets the tournament up would be able to lock in game settings for all that play? That would have taken care of people playing without gimmies, too much boost, no wind...etc.

That ability does not exist. Although it seems like it would prevent cheating, it's no different than someone dropping a ball in the rough in real life and saying "found it". Cheaters are cheaters. Locking down the settings would help prevent cheating but real golf has a level of self monitored morailty so does TGC.

If you click tours, then the tour then the tournament, the leaderboard is there. It's also on the first page of each event on this forum. Is that what you are looking for or something else?
