Played my second round and recorded it. My fear was that it was going to be awful and I'd be questioned on how well I played in round 1. Luckily it was almost as good. Just two strokes more than last night. Feeling good with this tourney so far.

        Let's just hope round 3 isn't a triple digit!

I need some help from some of you who are experts on video and recording. Here is my first round of the PGA. The audio is terrible and the video is jerky as well. During actual play, my system ran fairly smooth without lag. Please help.

If you are using shadowplay, you will need to go to shadowplay settings and make sure that you are recording at 60 FPS 50 Mbps in H264

Just finished my 2nd round. What fun it was. The game picked ghost player timdm3 for me and what a match. Had him by 2 strokes after 9. Then was even then 2 behind after 15. By tee off it was dead even. We both doubled number 18. Thanks for the great match timdm3.

Haha glad I could double 18 for you to keep it all square! I'll look for your ghost for round 3 if you play before me. Hopefully we can have a nice Sunday showdown.

Yeah, I really enjoyed this course and on top of that all this simulator golf is paying off and I am playing much better. It's going to start evening itself out with my handicap. I'll post the video soon. I could have played round three much better but I went bogey, bogey, double on the last three.

Great playing RS. Keep it up. The new handicap system is rock solid. It'll even out.

So I thought that I would play 1 or 2 rounds today. I start off with a few practice holes.... birdie birdie.... great....that's enough practice. I shoot 6 over and I don't know when to quit so I start round number 2....... 6 over again. I figure that I am done for the day..... so I go back to my birdie birdie practice round. Next two holes..... birdie birdie. Well..... back to tournament round #3...... And wait for it................. a 10 on the first hole. and then I struggled to claw back to 6 over......again. I might have been able to score lower, but I have been using the driver on pretty much every par 4 and 5. I need to practice my 40-80 yard game. Great course though. Oh I just finished my practice round at 4 under which might be my best round ever.

Round 3 down. Shot another great round for me. I made a few solid putts that really helped me out. There were a few things that prevented the round from being even better. One hole I hit my 8 iron 3 times with no read from Skytrak. All solid strikes. Then on the 4th hit I half shanked it and of course it read. Then on the last three holes I went bogey bogey double because of mental errors.

Haha damn man, you really do have the worse luck when it come to practice rounds being great and then not being able to replicate it exactly in the actual tournament rounds. How did you get the 10, just keep hooking it into the water im guessing? Your story sounds just like mine though, should not have kept on playing, but didn't know when to quit. My pitch shots where crap as well from that range this tournament. Ive been all over those shots lately but this time I just couldn't get it within like 25 or 30 ft on all of those shots. Not my best tournament. Back to the driving range for me.

First I duffed my driver twice, then went to a 3 wood and didn't take enough angle off. After that hole I played great but I was 6 over after 1 hole. And ended up at 6 over. I played 4 rounds that day plus some practice. Funny when I finished my practice round. I though that I would struggle through and maybe shoot another 6 over. I slowed down my swing and took an extra club. After my 10, I was par for 31 holes. 17 holes at par on my 3rd round and par for the last 14 holes of my practice round. I didn't record the last round but I saved a replay...... so I can put up the replay if you want to see a 10 on a par 4.

Very nice again! That's the worse when that happens with the no reads, it never misses a shank though haha. Those last few holes can be tough when you know you are playing well and trying to hold it together coming in. That's always the most nervous I get on the course. Great tournament by you though, hope the play continues.

Nice recovery to save the double at least on the last too

Wow what a difference a week and a little outdoor practice makes. I was so stinking frustrated with the short game. So I decided to actually measure out some IRL shots around the green. Turns out the updated version of TGC is WAY closer to reality than the previous version. At least for me around the green. So, employed that inside and ta-da feel like I'm back to my old simulator golf self :-). There were still a couple of shots that didn't play out like I thought they should, but I almost holed out one shot in round 2 or early round 3 and then I did end up holing one out in round 3 on the back side. I left a couple just 2-3 feet short. I lost three strokes again this week to putts that jumped off. Two of them jumped right and I had never had one jump left on me until tonight. Played all three rounds in one night with a city commission meeting and severe weather/tornado south of us in the middle :-).

I was SO STINKING MAD at myself because I had by far my best tournament round going and I absolutely bombed one of the late par 4s. Put two straight drives in the drink. JUST missed a 39-foot putt for a seven and ended up with a snowman. I put WAY too many balls in the water during this tournament. I think I probably lost 7-8 balls in the drink. I thought it was going to be a horrible tournament because my very first shot out of the gate was a driver in the drink. But bounced back and ended up with a 75 in round 1 and I think that is my lowest simulator round ever. Wasn't quite as good in round 2 with a 77 and then finished with an 80.

I played really well IRL yesterday too. Played the tips on a 7,300-plus muni course with my 13-yo son who plays his final tournament of the season on Sunday at this course. Shot an 81. Tanked on the front side with a 42 and then bounced back with a 39 on the back side. Hit 5 of 9 greens on the back and 6 of 18 for the day, which one golf guru says you have to hit at least 6 GIR to break 80. I had one penalty stroke which hurt and took a double on that hole. That was my only double, but just couldn't convert enough from just off the green.

So all in all I'm VERY pleased with where I'm at right now. Need to find a little more consistency with ball striking. I had some VERY poor shots IRL yesterday and in all three rounds today. Thankfully they were straight, but just weren't real well struck. These are times when I just can't wait for the next round either outdoor or indoor. All I wants to do is PLAY!

Sounds crazy, I can't do that to you, no need to post that, I'm sure you'd rather not re-live it again haha. Great consistency after that though. I still have no idea how I shot par in the second round, my swing was all over the place, I was always just aiming for areas just so I wouldn't hit it in the water haha. Looking forward to getting back on the range tonight to work it out

Yep, a lot came together for me in the tournament - sorry man. I did my best to blow it on the final round hitting into the water I believe 4 times. I have posted before but really glad we have these weekly tournaments so thanks protee. Well, off to play in the real world.

Why does the leader board show the player at the top in second place?
