I just played 9 holes with a cracked ball. Driver averaged 210, 6 iron 130 instead of 245 and 160. I could not figure it out. Oh well.

Been playing the best golf of my life over the last two weeks but today's 2nd round never got started.
Couldn't sink a putt, incredibly frustrated around the greens with rough grabbing anything that was a foot short of the green, even when it was exactly as I wanted it. The course also felt LOONG. Is it the 4th or 5th where even with a 250yd drive the 2nd shot is at least the same if not 280yds! Par 4? Anyway, good luck guys... wasn't my day, could be yours.

Well it's a par 70 with a few short par 3s and a 480isch paar 5. Well also a 500+ par 4. but yes it does feel long.

The front 9 kills me. It's all the uphills that are all seemingly on the long holes. I somehow eked in a 77 in practice and haven't come close since. Some holes really screw with me too. I can put any club directed at any direction off the tee...into the right hand bunker on 3.

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO (in my best Rick Flair voice) . . . Best simulation round of my life tonight. Came in with a 75 even with a double bogey. Had two near birdie misses. One I thought was going it, but it had one of those pull left moments :-(. The other one is just didn't read the break properly. Did have a 22-foot par save or maybe 21. Something like that. Really pleased to hit the ball that well tonight, because I did a "ball test" for a friend of mine and the driver was ALL OVER THE PLACE. Granted I wasn't using my gaming driver, but still felt like it should have been better. Hopefully this can carry over into IRL for our big member-guest tourney this weekend :-). Now the bad thing is my handicap is going to drop :-).

Hahaha that handicap dropping is rough to see sometimes. Congrats on the awesome round though! Love that feeling of getting that personal best and you did it with a double too, very impressive, especially on this course as wellOriginally posted by MainStGolf View PostWOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO (in my best Rick Flair voice) . . . That is a great feeling when you see some big improvement. I remember the first time I broke 80..... took a picture of the scorecard and sent it to my buddy. Now if I shoot 80 I try to figure out what the hell happened and head back to the range. 75 is a great score on this course.

Well hopefully I can be a little more consistent and the drop won't sting as bad. That's a big if though for me :-). Now that I think about the round I can't remember if I actually had a double or if I saved that bogey putt. I wish we could see our scorecards. I think that's coming in the next "official" tour isn't it?

another tournament behind me. No first place this week....hehehe. Had another good match in round 2 with Sean C - we finished 2 strokes apart in total and lost by 2 strokes in final round and that was with in a chip in birdie on last hole. The first nine our tough
Had lots of fun...so thanks Pro Tee. Playing real golf Saturday and Sunday but hopefully can get a practice round in on the next stop.

Played my second round. Wasn`t terrible, but I am having so e major swing issues I need to work out. Decid ed no IRL golf until its fixed. I am frustrated with the slice I have had for over 15 years, no consistency with my irons, I have lost about 20 yards on all my clubs, and for some reason, there is only about a 5 yard difference between each of my irons. It thought it was from hitting off a mat, but i saw it on the course last weekend. I am deciding if I am going to fight through the last few tourneys and then break or hang it up before. I need lessons, but i can not spend the money now that I purchased the simulator and new clubs. Double edge sword. Just need to get back to the basics.

I just played a BMW practice round with your ghost and it really seemed like your struggeling with your short irons. You where ahead the first 5 holes because i screwed up. After watching my last videos I desighted to take care of my ugly baseball swing with my driver. I'm not worried about scores right now either, just want to get everything in line for the next tour.

I wanted to add that I haven't completed a whole lot of rounds in awhile and my HC has probably lessened due to practice since. I don't want to be a sand bagger and definitely don't deserve to win on a handicap score this go around.
Definitely happy with my play though. I played years ago when I was a teenager with no proper instruction and picked up the game a year ago, 20 years later. Without this sim option I would have never had a chance to practice the way I can now. Love it and can't wait to show my son the game of golf.Last edited by Joko; 08-29-2016, 03:51 AM.
