With this theme, it makes it kind of hard to see the hole on the green when putting from outside of 10' or so.

Thank god for google. I've never really had issues hitting driver other than maybe having a higher than average LA, but for whatever reason, lately I've really struggled. Hitting low hooks off the hosel or just low in general and not very far. And when you don't hit it far to begin with, it makes it even worse. Round 1 wasn't very good. So go online watch a video on improving LA and wouldn't you know it, small setup change and back to hitting it fairly decent and a lot longer. And as usual, get that working and the putter decides to take the day off. I think I had three putts inside 10' that missed and burned a couple edges. Oh well, at the least the driver is hopefully corrected.

Our games sound similar :-). When one thing works something else decides to break down. If only it could all come together just once. That's not too much to ask is it?

I've only had it all come together twice in 20+ years. I shot a 1 under 71 and 3 under 69 about 4 years ago. They happened within two rounds of each other. Funny, went out today and first hole, hit a good drive, hit a decent shot in and just missed green right, about 7 yards to pin and it takes me four more shots. I then bogey 4 more with two of them being 3 putts and one birdie to go out 5 over. Turn around and come in 2 under on back. Go figure.

I was less than two inches from shooting even par on the back 9 this weekend. Ive never shot an even par round on any 9 that I can remember. Started with a birdie and a couple of pars on the front side then had three bogies and two doubles to go +6 on the front side. So frustrating. And for us it's the SAME 9 holes :-). We only have a 9-hole course.

I've been struggling with big stick too. Hitting 50 yard pulls and 50 yard slices a couple of times per round. Bad combination.

The putting stats are totally wrong. It looks like it is only tracking times we actually putt the ball. But since gimmes count as shots, and those would have been putts had we played it down. Those need to be counted to get some accurate stats.

I need to find time to play this tournament this week. I played some practice rounds here and was humbled on my driver quite a bit. I found water everywhere. Hopefully the real rounds I do better. The gimme putts not counting get confusing when looking at the stats.

The gimme putts are on the list to be fixed. Please remember that the tour site is still in beta and ProTee is expecting us to let them know of any bugs. They are also open to suggestions. This course can be tough if you don't hit the fairways. I have played 3 rounds on it so far. I had a great practice round in the 60's .....one in the 70's and the first round of the tournament in the 80's. If my next round is in the 90's I will have to take a break.

started this course yesterday. 3 over after 6 which is decent for me. Then a 12 on the next hole - water, water, and water. Will play the back nine today around lunch time. Do love these tournements. Really looking forward to playing at the start of the season coming up - got my sim back in May and added TGC about a month later.

I guess are winnings (money) will reset but world ranking will just be added to?

Ouch!!! Last night was painful. I had a tin cup moment on one of the holes. I hit a drive in the water. The drop zone was 230 out over water to the hole...... I proceeded to hit three 3W into the water attempting to get it there....

My second round .... not nearly as bad as my first round. A triple bogey after hitting the water.....after hitting a tree. Still managed to put up a good score.

Thanks, my first round.....not so good. That triple bogey made a great round good.

Started round 2 with a par, then a triple, double, double stretch nuked the round in its infancy. The tight fairways did me in this round. I did chip in for birdie on 18 to end it.

Does anyone know if the scorecard keeps track of penalty shots (water/OB) anywhere?

I wish it kept track and showed if people are using the mulligan option...

It does, but the player needs to turn on shot recording. Sometimes with a GSA or ProTee system a misread will happen. Then a rewind is warranted. This is pretty rare for GSA.... I think that I had one where I was putting 20 or 30 feet and the putt went 1 inch. I recorded the round.... I think it was the 9th hole. Stuff like this happens about once a round. ProTee can see if people are using mulligans. If you look closely at the data, you can tell if a rewind is legit. When you see a 32 degree LA with the driver...... it is most likely a misread. Or while putting. If a guy is 10 yards away from the pin and the data shows 0.4 mph on the putt.... it is most likely a misread or the player has fainted. I think that for tournament play... the shot recording should be mandatory. Usually a rewind will show two consecutive shots from the same distance. This is also the case if you put one in the water from the tee. At times, they put your right back on the tee. In that instance, from looking at the data, it would look like a rewind but in fact it is just a penalty stroke. I guess that they could add columns that show hole # and stroke #. This way, a rewind will show as two shots with the same stroke #. And if one went into the water, the next tee shot would show as stroke #3

@ stingreye, I don't think that they are keeping track of that stat. Something to put on the wish list.

Shot recording is a great feature.... everyone should have it turned on.

Did anyone else see that blue dot in the middle of the screen on some holes or is this just me hallucinating? Round 1 was really tough... Then I saw the SkyTrak was completely off its mark and not leveled. Straightened it out and had a much better 2nd round. Well better for me lol!

I choked this one away. At one point in the first round I was -5 gross. I stopped after a few holes in the second round and picked up again today. Didn't warm up enough and those early water holes blew me up. Easy course if you are driving it straight. Super tough when the driver gets off. It would be nice for GROSS to get some love on this tour though. Just a thought...
