TGC Courses?

I just got my Protee system up and running and went to the TGC courses and was wondering the following?

1. How many courses are actual layouts of the "real" course?
2. I see Augusta National isn't one of the 70k courses in the package?
3. Why is there a selection for graphics quality? Wouldn't you always want high resolution?
4. I have screen resolution at 800 x 600 and have played around with a few other settings, adjusted the projector but the graphics don't look crisp? Anyone have recommendations on what combination has worked best for them?
5. So I guess if you select a course and on the left side "advance" doesn't come up then this course is not available?
6. There is no way to select alternate tee boxes to shorten the course?

Sorry if these are amateur questions, little overwhelmed as this is my first simulator.

First, go to the "The Golf Course" section of the forum and you will see some valuable information like best courses and the ones made for ProTee, etc. Second, Augusta National is called Magnolia on TGC (i guess for copyright issues).....and third, go to the www.thegolfclubgame.com and read up on the forum there as well

The graphics quality selection probably defaults to what your projector is capable of handling or what it's 'native resolution' is. it does for my set-up. Simply put if you have a XGA projector which is 1084 x 768, you can choose HD resolution but the projector isn't going to project anything better that what it is capable of, in this example 1084 x 768. Check what your projector specs are to be sure that you can get a better image.

All courses that are listed are available. If they take a long time to advance then it is usually load on the server that is the issue. Sometimes they load quickly, sometimes it seems like ages...

Currently only one set of tees so choose shorter courses.

If "Advance" isn't coming up on certain courses that means you have an older version which needs to be updated. Send a message to ProTee United and they will e-mail you the latest version of the software and put you on the distribution list for updates moving forward.

If you're not seeing Advance on certain courses, you don't have the latest version.
