  • Zero side spin

I recently installed version 3.16t for the interface and ever since I did, I continually get zero readings for the sidespin of my shots. As much as I'd like to believe that I hit my shots straight, I'm getting this reading on better than 10 percent of my shots. In a recent round I had 10 of them in a round of 83. I'm not counting putts, only irons and woods. Has anyone else had this issue or can anyone suggest a fix for this. I've checked my settings and everything appears normal.

    Thanks

I can't say I have ever experienced that. I would open up a ticket with ProTee United or PROTEE UK Sometimes you can go in circles on the forums; whereas the support from ProTee will be unparalleled and get you straight to the point.. ..pun intended. Definitely report back here when you get it figured out so others may learn from it too and good luck.

Rockin Robin, what was your previous interface version?
If you just updated to the new from an older version there could have been migration issues with older version settings etc.
These new version interfaces are best done as clean installs.
email me and I will guide you through a clean installation.

This post is a bit delayed but better late than never.

I wanted to post a huge shout out to Jamie at ProTee for the technical support I recently received. Through remote access, Jamie uninstalled the old interface, installed the new one and then tweaked some of my computer settings to ensure optimal performance. Jamie then had me hit a lot of shots with different clubs while tweaking some of the settings.

Although not all issues were fixed (I’m still having issues with flop shots with a sand or lob wedge) I’m extremely satisfied with the support I received and I would encourage anyone with issues to open up a ticket with Protee and they will help you.

Thanks Robin, Email me and we will look again at the flop shots. It maybe as part ofone of the new routines in the system we have something set incorrectly, My system here takes flops no problem launching around 50-54 degrees perfectly so sure we can get yours the same.

          Thanks for the kind words

          Jamie

Thanks Jamie. I’ve been tweaking some of the settings myself and will keep an eye on the results. If I feel I need more help from you I won’t hesitate to reach out to you.

        cheers.

No problem, anytime. the setting in the settings file ALT E to access to change in under min launch angle for chip shot. A new routine for high lofted wedges is found here. You can alter this value from 20 to 35 to suit and see if the flops are better. They should be but also check the vcam images and make sure the ball is being seen each time with the red verification line showing. Happy to look again should you need me too.
