    Still confused....

Sorry guys, I think I have asked before but I am still not sure of the answer.

I see posts about changing settings for chip shots and pitch shops. Does it matter? I thought that it did not matter to use the "shot" selection in TGC. I thought that the program would use actual readings to compute the shot???

So, which is it? I understand you want to select the club because you may have your individual clubs tweaked... But, do you need to use the "shot type" button?

No you do not change shot type in TGC. This is used in course design mode. You can test courses and simulate shot shapes with your mouse.

Gene just play the course as is. Keep the forgiveness on 30 % adjust the lift and drag like you did and adjust your vcam as needed. That's all I did and mine works just fine on tgc and the 2.0 software if you have that... don't change too many settings it will make things worse. Any issues contact protee support they will guide you best.. regards

And I never use the shot shape.. if I want to to hit a flop open the sand wedge the launch cam will pick up the launch. Play each shot as normal. Then play what ever shot you wish to play and the vcam will recognize it.. hope that helps.
